Too close to call really. I think Mayweather has a better chance than Pacquiao of winning a convincing victory over McLarnin. McLarnin is capable of beating both though, certainly.
If you wanted McLarnin to win, what weight would you make the fight at? I mean which era of McLarnin would you use to match up each (sorry for the hijack).
Lightweight or Welterweight. I don't think it matters. Not a smaller/younger McLarnin than that though.

Good call ! .... but maybe at 118 or a 116 catchweight, since they both seemed to be struggling badly for 112. A great little fight, yes. But I don't think McLarnin's chances increase there any, since he seemed to start hitting harder and scoring the KOs when he got up at lightweight and moved east to NY (late 1920s).
