I disagree. Yes he has gotten older. But I wouldn't read too much into the rudenko fight. Povetkin came out like a demon but then Rudenko hurt his neck and their was long pause looked like the fight was going to be stopped. That saps a fighter's momentum and adrenaline. It took a few rounds for the fight to regain any flow after that. Parker vs Povetkin would be good fight.

Parker didn't beat Carlos Takam. Parker looked terrible vs Cojanu.

Of course he's slowing down a bit, man's 38. But he still throws accurate combinations with his brickfists and Parker still has **** defence and mediocre footwork when retreating, which is something he will be doing a lot of against a top pressure fighter.

    Поветкин by late stoppage. :deal:

and it should've been ruled a TKO1 for Povetkin as Rudenko injured his neck from an uppercut and needed several minutes to recover.

I don't rate Parker highly, but he has the personality an attitude where you want to see him do well. A gentleman. But Pov's just better !

Yeah he's definitely a gent, TBF I've never known a Kiwi not to be.

At least not until I start talking about rugby, that's when some of them (not all) can get a bit .... uhm ... elitist, to put it politely. :p

If Parker faces Povetkin he really does have brass balls. Hats off to him.

Awesome. I love Parker's attitude. Bring on Browne, then Povetkin. If he can't beat Povetkin he'll never beat Joshua so best to find out now.

Don't understand all this talk about Povetkin.

Why waste keystrokes on a fight that's never happening?

I've kind of got my head around a Lucas Browne fight. Still don't think it's a good one for Parker but yes he should win.

If we compare their performances vs Takam I don't give Parker a great chance. Is the biggest payday outside Joshua though.
