Boxing should provide a level playing field, some worship Byrd, think her card was correct, hell, even Alvarez did not agree with her card.....................Nacho Beristain had Golovkin winning...............Paulie 9 rounds to 3, Lederman 8 rounds to 4, etc.

Why is it you have to log in again for the lounge??? I know its off topic but I cant get in for some reason. Just comeback from a ban, would that have anything to do with it ?

Others are also having issue's accessing the lunge and the format and page style appears much different as of the other day. it's a mess and less people are posting i think they want it to just whither and die.

Judges were supposed to be irrelevant anyway. Because according to GGG's fans and Sanchez the fight wasn't going to go the distance anyway. These idiots let hype of fighting and beating no one of note give them a false sense that Canelo would fold like all the rest. To their surprise Canelo isn't Wade he can take it as much as he can give it. Now all of a sudden they're worried about the judges, ****ing hilarious. What they need to be worried about is that Canelo has this dude figured out and will box circles around his ass in the rematch because the rematch always favors the better boxer and that's Canelo.:deal:

Because he failed to deliver. GGG was said by his fans and some media to be the hardest punching boxer in history koing HWs in sparring. Before the Jacobs fight he was picked by his fans and me to absolutely destroy Jacobs, he failed miserably and arguably lost against a guy who was put on ***** st by Mora and stopped by Pirog. His next test was Canelo a blown up WW who his fans for years said he would KO easily, his fans laughed at the assertion that Canelo would last a full 12 rounds. I never believed that and picked Canelo to win and what happened in the fight? He got touched up went life and death and earned a draw. Once again he failed to deliver. He didn't fail in proving he was worldclass, he showed that but he failed to deliver with this world ending power his fans had built him up to have, thus not living up to the hype of being the hardest punching MW of all time.

Because I was led to believe by GGG's overzealous fans who spam boxing forums around the globe and media hype that he was the hardest punching MW of all time if not in boxing history.:risas3: His fans went on and on about how he was going to make Jacobs leave the ring on a stretcher. After all this is the same Jacobs who was put on ***** st by light punching Mora and stopped by Pirog, right? Surely a monster puncher like GGG would make quick work of Jacobs but everyone was wrong...dead wrong.

many fighters compromise a lot for fights to happen and they are still given the NDA (non-disclosure agreement). we don't even know if there's a drug now to make their chins harder. most high funded fights are fixed if it does not have KD's or end in KO.

I never rated Jacobs hell I picked Quillen to beat him. That's how little I thought of him add the media and GGG fan hype and you can see why I picked against him.;) With that said I knew all along not to pick him against Canelo because Canelo is a better fighter than Jacobs had beaten better fighters than Jacobs.

In my opinion Golovkin did deliver by winning a clear decision and then had to settle for a draw.

Following the fight, he immediately stated that "Yes, he wanted the re-match."

Canelo, as I recall, would not address whether he wanted a re-match or not.

Instead, he is taking (not sure how many) months off.

    Gee, I wonder why.

(Tanning bed time? Botox? Installing more mirrors? Portraits with the ponies? Sorry if those questions make me sound like I believe Canelo has become a prima donna. Oh, certainly not. But I am entitled to disappointment in a fighter that I always have enjoyed changing to one who seems to be again avoiding climbing into the ring with an older fighter.)

I've stated elsewhere that I believe Golovkin fought an exact fight plan where he stayed on Canelo but did not open himself up to real damage. No point in doing that when he could easily outscore a fighter that historically lacks stamina.

Like, I think, everyone else- I certainly was disappointed that he was not throwing anything really powerful or damaging at Canelo, but you know what? He was racking up rounds.

I think if a second fight does occur, then Golovkin should not agree to Canelo receiving a free pass on drug testing. He may not have the power to make that demand, but if the rematch cannot be made, I would guess that would be the reason.

If it does not happen, then Golovkin should simply pursue BJS.

Even playing field and Las Vegas is a contradiction. Place was built by gangsters and is still run by gangsters of a different sort.
