I didn't claim great. That isn't where the bar is set to beat a Charles Ellis. There's a middle ground there. I'm someone that could have turned pro and run up a record as good as his or better, IMO.

Great = of ability, quality, or eminence considerably above the normal or average

To whoop Ellis you have to be a great fighter. Hell it took that great boxer kownacki 5 rounds to Tko Ellis.

Not doubting you because I know pros post on forums. Just saying bold statements, know you're going pro like to see how it turns out ;)

Ugh. Toney should not be licensed to fight. He shouldn't be sparring in the gym. This is worrisome to say the least.

IB is a great boxing mind & a good fighter, that is enough to outbox the current version of James Toney

What do you mean? He ended up like Taylor a long time ago.

Toney's "power" is not there no more, and not much else either. Really all that is left is a granite chin, which will be his downfall when all is said and done. I mean he got beat by kenny lemon few years back and then the results were changed after scorecards read. Scamjob. Cmon James Toney, sell your damn cigars and stop boxing. I do miss hearing him ***** and moan about the "Quitschko sisters" :band:

If you watch the interview with Flip DA Script from at 1:40:32 they discuss brain injuries and James speech.

More like Gerald McClellan, if we're unlucky, which is a real possibility at some point.

And we as the fans are going to have to be witness to it, and live with it after the fact.

Toney done well there wow. Reflexes looked good. I still haven't got around to watching the Toney Browne fight but going 10 or 12 with Browne is not easy.

Toney is going to KO this light heavyweight kid lights out
