Rigo is a top fighter one of the best of his generation skill wise. I hope I'm wrong and I've underestimated Rigo.
I hope you will admit you are wrong about lomachenko if he wins.

Such a great fight. Rigo is the truth but I think Loma takes this one. Loma got lazy and sloppy in his last fight true, but Rigo is the guy who has shown the suspect chin.

He won't treat Rigo with the same disrespect as Marriaga, but it's a total mismatch????:duhWTF

He won't. If it's even a tad close, he'll have Rigo winning. It's his MO...

Still haven't contradicted myself. The weight is a huge issue. And yes rigo is much better than marriaga.
The closest comparison I can make is JJM vs Mayweather.

Anything is possible. I almost get the feeling the fight won't live up to the hype. Rig is a crafty practitioner inside the ring. He can make it a very ugly fight while banking rounds if Loma can't cope with the Cuban savvy. Whoever can take control of the distance at which this fight is fought will ultimately win the fight. Both have exceptional footwork and a great sense of distance.

It's a tough fight to call. Who can anticipate the other mans next move will play a big role as to which one of these skilled pugilists will come out hand raised. I'm leaning towards Loma simply because both are equally matched from a skills and experience perspective. Loma on the other hand has youth, speed and size on his side. It won't be a fight for the casual boxing fan to enjoy but for the hardcore fans of the sweet science it will be one to remember.

If one fighter runs away with this it will most certainly be Loma. Stylistically I think this favors the Eastern European phenom. The inactivity of Rig is also a big concern as ring rust is almost inevitable. If his timing isn't calibrated perfectly we will see Rig getting punished severely by the relentless pressure Loma is know for

So you think one of the smartest boxers in the game who decided to take a calculated risk to entertain fans in his last fight, because he ascertained the threat level was low enough to attempt it, yet played it incredibly safe against a dangerous puncher like Walters until he decoded him before opening up and beating him down, is going to go balls to the walls and risk it against the a heavy handed accurate as hell counter puncher who feeds off aggression and also happens to be the toughest opponent of his career, both amateur and professional? What an insult to the intelligence of Loma this thread is, you owe him an apology.:deal:
