Wilder-Ortiz officially cancelled; Wilder will face Stiverne instead

So this is Wilder's "big announcement". It's a total joke!

 

Even though its not Wilders fault there's just been too much of this garbage attached to his career to give him a pass. Why is this not happening with anybody else? He should give up the belt and walk away.

Wilder only fights opponents on a short notice, that is nothing new.

 

Breazeale would practically have a better resume than Wilder if that fight happens lol

 

Thank goodness, justice prevails. Just need that old fool Ortiz to be stripped of his mandatory positions, including the wba. Lol Deontay ending another career.

This is why I wasn't giving Wilder any credit when he signed up for Ortiz, I knew something shady would happen.

I don't see how Wilder is blamed for this folks.
I wanted to see that fight so badly!!!

 

I dunno, I think believing Don King has this kind of influence in 2017 is only slightly less ridiculous than the notion that Wilder himself is forcing the WBC to call off these fights. I actually do kind of wonder if they feel bad for Stiverne after they jerked him around during his first period as a mandatory while Vitali was deciding for ages whether he'd ever fight again or not and still holding the WBC title.
