the fight only makes sense in the UK, wilder doesn't have the pulling power like AJ has, if in America they miss out on the casual UK fans that would buy in because of the time difference (5am in UK if in Vegas) but would be both prime time in UK 11pm and America 6pm so both causal fans across both countries can watch it

and the wbc protects wilder again... oh well I said I would boycott and not watch this fight if it happened again and I am sticking to it. to anyone who watches enjoy... joke of a fight you stuggle vs rossy and you get awarded a mandatory heavyweight title shot smdh.. I am sure dan rafeal on espn will be praising wilder like usual though.

I just hope Wilder doesn't retire undefeated for some reason. I'd have to stop using this forum if there were Haye-like hypotheticals on here about how Wilder 'would have' beaten XYZ if he had ever fought them. An there would be.

He's a disgusting hater with so much animosity that I feel the need to bring it back at him. I'm sure he'll be fine with New York's safety protocols but if not so be it.

I'm sure he does but the WBC are the ones behind his protection, they have a master plan of another Mike Tyson Wilder will be protected no matter what.

Stiverne failed his drug test right before the Povetkin fight, then he claimed that somebody put something in his drink.

WBC just seems like a complete joke.

I hope Stiverne won't pass the drug test one week before the fight

Yes, Stiverne said that he isn't guilty, WBC looked into his honest eyes and believed him.

Just when I was beginning to give Wilder respect for picking an opponent like Ortiz, he pulls a 180 on me and goes back to good ole Stirverne. I know its the WBCs orders but the fact is, where back at square one Deontay. Now just fight Stirverne and dont focus on anybody else. No, I want watch the fight.

But Wilder doesn't determine the mandatory does he?

Again I might be naive but if Povetkin and Ortiz wouldn't have failed tests he'd have fought them both.

See I don't buy into any conspiracy theory whether it's moon landing, nine eleven or WilderBC.

Exactly what I think mate. It's embarrassing and as a fan it is really frustrating. This is why I refused to give much credit to Wilder initially for taking the fight.

If Vegas can front the money then you best believe Hearn will be keen to have it there. There's no way they see the fight going 12 so I doubt they'd even care if Byrd was all three judges.
