Sure he wasn't, stop it. And PBF was just as old as GGG was when he fought Canelo with more fights than GGG not to mention PBF had already come up into his 5th weightclass and was the much smaller man unlike GGG who was bigger than Canelo. Even still PBF damn near shut Canelo out. GGG fought PBF's leftovers and couldn't get the job done period. PBF 50-0 > GGG 37-0-1 Deal with it.

Oh come on... Ward has always been a LHW pretty much. I bet he walks around at 190+lbs easily..

Compare there stats ffs! Height, reach, weight... I'm not all about size personally, skills pay the bills & all that but crying about Rigo whilst pushing this fight is laughable

If PBF fought the same Canelo that GGG fought while he was 35 he still would have beaten Canelo easily. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Canelo. Canelo isn't going to be able to outbox PBF, no version of him would be able to, he can't beat PBF at his own game.:deal:

If GGG was American, it would be an outrage the draw result ! I think Russians/eastern block fighters are blacklisted to win if its points in the US. They need to base themselves in the UK where all the money fights are now and racialism's aren't as bad, me ol mush !

You're the one who brought up 4 years ago not me. Don't get mad at me when I respond telling like it is. PBF didn't even know GGG even existed 4 years ago.

Maybe. However in terms of experience & style Canelo has progressed in both areas. Markedly so...

Ward is taller, longer reach & can comfortably make 175.

    Yet you're whining about Rigo!

To say size isn't a factor is a cruel joke. Both are equally skilled I can't take anything away from either fighter. If that's the case, then I guess lets make Crawford-Loma at 140 and see if you change your tune about size.

Ward isn't a big man he has short arms only 1 inch longer than GGG. In fact he wasn't a big 168 pound fighter and is dwarfed at 175 by most LHWs there.

If you're going to go down this route why neglect to mention that he has a style that tends to age better than Golovkins? Not to mention draining the larger Alvarez a 2 extra lbs. Golovkin fought a non-drained, bigger, more mature and prime Alvarez.

He lost all respect with that line. I was a big fan of his at one point.

I hope GGG castrates CanYellow so we can end all debates.

I don't care personally. Hopkins earned my respect for the amazing feats he accomplished in the ring(despite being dirty, cheating, and a whiner loud mouth can't completely negate his longevity) but it's funny that many of his fanboys are often the one's who scream "racist" the loudest but had no problem whatsoever with his comments.

Irrelevant! Like I said in a previous post, PBF is a bad styles match up for Canelo. He looks to outbox and counter much like PBF does except he's not as good as PBF. He can't beat PBF at his own game he can't outbox PBF period and you know this. In fact I remember a thread being posted here after Canelo beat Cotto about a possible rematch against PBF and no one here wanted to see it because they thought Canelo would get tooled again.

It is very relevant. But yeah - not going to argue there. He struggles with fighters like Trout, Mayweather, Lara etc. and still gets ridiculously biased and lopsided cards in his favor in those fights, just like against Golovkin.

GGG 37-0-1* and still going. Not to mention Floyd has a big asterisk next to that 50th ‘win’ for reasons already stated. And I don’t even need to get into the first Castillo fight.

Floyd never really ruled a division and his career is full of stupid catch weight and circus act fights. He waited until Pac went through a few more wars and suffered a knockout loss before fighting him. And he CHOKED at the Olympics :) Also he holds NO record and I don’t know why certain people are obsessed with his fraud 50th win. Willie Pep went 62-0 fore losing. Chavez went like 86-0.

Also who has the better criminal record? GGG or Floyd? :D

Gennady > Floyd in LIFE. DEAL WITH IT.
