Expect an Irish license or some random EU license to be obtained. The AJ fight will happen now the UKAD suspension appears to have been lifted.
I don't even think that now..Cant see him shifting weight and training hard ever again..Hes tried a few times and it don't last long. I firmly believe he has days when he thinks that he himself will return 100%, but I think them days are outnumbered by couldn't give a **** anymore days !
He'll fight Joshua in shape or not. He'll make what - 15m or so? He won't turn down that sort of money for his family and if he's out of shape and loses he'll blame that saying something like "he didn't beat me, I beat me".
Could see that happening. Fury's a character, but I got no problem admitting he gets knocked out now v AJ...Monumental hill to climb and too much time out
My problem with Fury isn't much as a man. He's very much a product of his environment and whilst that's not an excuse it does give a good reasoning as to why his views are what they are. I very much believe he's a decent bloke trapped in a child's brain surrounding by considerably less pleasant people like his old man. Any dislike I have for him is grounded in what he's done to the HW division.
So are The Ring going to remove him from their ratings yet? Surely he still can't be "The Lineal" Champ!
I understand what your saying..His old man looks and sounds a complete illiterate to me, no doubt a hard man on the street and a bully, but not a great role model. These gypo's like to cry about unfair treatment and its just a load of **** !
Very good point. Anyone I've heard that's met Tyson has said he's a really standup, friendly bloke. But it's clear he does have mental issues and isn't getting support from his family who probably just tell him to stop being a big jesse. Can't stand his eye gouging scumbag dad.
I just read today that they were discussing it the last couple of months, but wasn't stripped due to the loophole that he had fights planned at that period (couldn't fight if he wanted to) so he has up until nov 28 to resolve things and fight a top5 opponent. That is never gonna happen of course
Yes it is. It’s the British Board of BOXING Control, right? A retired fighter is not a boxer. He’s a former boxer. The board is tasked with regulating the sport, not people who once participated in it. Their efforts, energies and attention should be focused solely on dealing with active participants, not retired fighters. No professional boxer who is not retired should have to wait even one second for a retired fighter’s hearing or a judgment relating to if he can be licensed to fight ... when he is retired from the sport and thus not going to apply for a license.
fury changed his mind several times - once in the space of a few days I don't think even he knows if he'll actually stay retired this time, and it shouldn't be up to the powers that be to second guess that. all they needed to do was make a decision. doesn't take over 2 years to decide that.
