No they wouldn't, you pay for WBSuperSeries and you fork out big coin, the undercard comes free, they wouldn't put extra fights on after forking out so much, and most fights aren't in the UK logistically would cost big coin.

People get this idea in their head there would be no fights on ppv if it was on sky/boxnation that's BS too

Eddie Hearn said when BT and ITV involved in boxing he wouldn't be the only one doing PPV. He was right.

Who has Warren got to do 3 or 4 ppv's? Frampton?

If I was ITV, I’d have bundled the Groves & Jr fights together for £10 / £15, if they absolutely had to be PPV at all. But then that would be sensible. I just can’t see either fight individually doing decent numbers.

    I agree he's reaching a bit.

But say Dubois fights for a world title late December. Potential PPV.

Frampton v Selby or Santa Cruz.

Saunders v Canelo or GGG or Eubank

Tyson Fury in a meaningful fight.

Can happen but Warren's cards have been shocking this year, would need a radical change.

Not quite viewing figures related, but go and have a look at the replies on Sauerlands (verified) Twitter account,
@SauerlandBros. Quality. Confirms they must be on something!

ITV have well and surley shot themselves in the foot.

It was so obvious how to get people into this that anybody could see it. I have no idea who is advising them on this but they need firing asap.

ITV have real problems if Eubank or Groves lose early in this tournament. Imagine if Yildrim goes and beats both Eubank/Groves? The PPV model would be decimated.

As for Eubank this Saturday it's up against both a Sky card and a Channel 5 so it will bomb.

It's crazy why they haven't put this on right after X factor on ITV. Could have done lots of promotion during the week and during the show! Same with groves and hopefully build a mega ppv! Am we all missing something are is it pretty obvious?

Jonathan Ross' show has to be on a Saturday and after ten. Sad to say that more people would watch him than Eubank.

Jonathan Ross vs Chris Eubank Sr on the undercard. Two birds, one stone...

Do you honestly believe putting them on free TV would make much of a difference to the build up?

    How many extra buys?

One of them might lose any way

people saying itv have blown it. They don't care long term they are only in it to make a quick buck.

The world boxing series lot want it to become a yearly thing. It had potential to be huge but due to it all being ppv its not grown at all.

PPV eventually eats boxing fans and kills itself

Absolutely NOBODY is going to be paying for this as Burns vs Crolla is on Sky at the same time.

What a terrible decision by ITV.
