Yes, this fantastic timeline, rundown bears repeating, to dispel the myths perpetuated over and over again. This is totally on the money and should have delivered a knockout blow to any doubters.
I did .. called you out as the misery you have always been. The 2 (klompton2) is because you've been kick off here before, just like the other sites .. you think that by stock piling articles it gives you insight into motives and human behavior but it doesn't and that is clearly beyond your bandwidth or you might have started by working on yourself but you can't because as I wrote earlier you're really not that bright.
And still nothing. You think your insults bother me? They dont and you know that better than most. I dont care about you, think about you, worry about you, nothing. Fall of the face of the earth tomorrow and my life isnt altered one bit. So, knowing that: try again. Because to me your little insults scream "youre right about patterson and i have nothing else to add." So please, continue.
Patterson would have to be one of the best ever between 176-200 pounds. I mean Charles, Walcott, Schmeling, cruiser Holyfield, you name 'em and Patterson has a live and realistic chance of beating them whether you favor him or not. Patterson's losses to an ATG puncher who was 215 pounds and another ATG boxer who also had a size advantage on Patterson shouldn't mean therefore he sucked as a fighter.
Yeah....I was watching the interview for Patterson/Chuvalo and if you asked me what his occupation was and without knowing anything about him, I'd guess a principal or math teacher. He didn't come across as a championship level pro boxer. It's something how two of boxing's most well known Floyd's...Mayweather and Patterson....had polar opposite personalities. Could you imagine Floyd "Money" Patterson???
You think he could continue to make the limit without being weak? After 1960 he consistently weighed 190-195 ish
I think Patterson could've defeated some modern day 200 plus heavies as well. Obviously, the cream of the crop guys like Lewis, Tyson, Bowe, Holyfield etc are off the table, but contenders like Briggs, Berbick, Ruiz, maybe even a Mercer or McCall could possibly be taken by Patterson.
If you read the book he wrote he talks about how he had to work very hard to gain weight for his fights. He talks about the second Johannson fight in particular where I believe he weighed his career highest at that point. He literally worked consistently before fights to gain. So I think he could have made 175 if he aimed at it and wasnt trying to be a bigger fighter.
