Okay after thinking on this most of the day I came up with this list

Honestly man, it was fun to watch him at his 140 peak, but he's more of a Hall of Very Good for me. I don't think I'd put him over Arbachakov, Iron Boy, or Dariusz, either.

I can't really begrudge a HOF that capitalizes on letting in bigger draws (they gotta keep the lights on, after all), but I can't see a great argument for him getting in this class unless too much weight gets put on the popularity aspect.

Heck, at this point, I'd rather see the Hall create a Fan Favorite category. That way more deserving, less popular fighters don't get jobbed out of a spot, and they have a good excuse to bring in a "draw" whose career doesn't quite make the cutoff.

 

I think having a "Fan voted in Boxer" would be cool. Most of these board members on large organizations really don't recognize the guys in the middle who bring most of the hardcore fans to their feet. A prime example would be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
