If he isn't banned then why isn't the fight happening? It's pathetic that the WBC is protecting chicken legs from a 40+ yr old with a heart condition.

Povetkin is not banned but Wilder got to walk away from this mandatory, Ortiz is not banned but Wilder gets to walk away from this mandatory, inactive Stiverne who hasnt done a damn thing to earn a mandatory position has been given the mandatory position.

It stinks. Id say how do the WBC have the nerve to explain and defend these decisions but there isnt anybody they have to defend or explain jack **** to, the WBC can do anything they want.

Wilder needs to be punished by the boxing gods for his big mouth and the easiest 39 fight resume of all TIME!!!

    All TIME I say!!!!!!!!

The man is a disgrace to the fine sport of boxing.

All Wilder fans should be rounded up and forced to repent publicly upon force of pain.

Nobody bother Blizzy though, he has already suffered enough and still isn't well enough to speak or type.

Problem is he probably actually thinks that as well. All that being more feared than Tyson and the most feared ever in boxing, as well. Deluded, can't wait to see his farce of a reign end.

Yes I am sure Wilder believes it 100%. If you check his interviews 3-4 years ago he came off as very level-headed. Now, after a few years of greedy managers and handlers blowing his head full of hot air you can barely recognize him. Driving around in his lambo and telling people he's the greatest boxer ever, totally unbeatable and how everyone is ducking him. He has become a total freakshow.

Ortiz’s manager released a statement saying his guy is medically unfit to fight.

The manager said that the WBC is going to send a physician to determine if he really has a blood pressure issue that caused him to take banned substances.

If he has a serious (the doctor said life threatening lol) blood pressure issue, the WBC will rightfully determine that he’s not fit and will drop him from the rankings for medical reasons. If the physician finds that he doesn’t have a serious blood pressure issue that required him to tasked banned substances (as opposed to other medications not on the banned list), then he’ll be found to have violated the Clean Boxing Program policies by failed drug test.

Either way, dude is rightfully out.

Good, and he shouldn't have been. its a shame he was pulled out of the match by the WBC, it should have proceeded as scheduled, its not WIlder's fault, but... he conveniently lucked out again.

    Wilder literally saved his life.

VADA testing exposed that he has a life threatening medical condition that his handlers were going to ignore and risk his very existence by putting him in the ring with it.

His own team put out a statement saying that he is not medically fit to fight. He’ll probably be on a respirator soon enough.

In some cultures, Ortiz would be bound to turn the rest of his life over to Wilder in servitude for saving his life.

Wilder has already surpassed Tyson Furys circus act by default with everything that has happened from questionable/ cancelled fights to hotel lawsuit scuffles. On his way to worst resume in HW history too,if he doesnt get a Joshua win which MOST likely wont happen.
