Felix Trinidad v.s GGG at 160??

Tito would get overwhelmed by pure educated power ! The kind of power he's heard of but never quite tasted....Like in a lot of fights, Tito gets dropped early, comes back strong for a bit, then its good night Irene !

Not a good styles matchup for a dude who moved up to MW at the end of his career and went 3-2 there, and a couple of those were vs smaller fighters who moved up.

I don't see even a 25% chance of him beating a great career middleweight with a dominant jab & iron chin. That's kryptonite for Tito.

Dude was a beast at 147, though, and still great at 154. 160 was stretching it too far for me to favor him over the very good & higher class. Don't think he'd have beaten Sturm at his best, to be frank.

 

Same way I see it. Tito is a monster at his best weights, but 160 is stretching it too far for me to favor him over too many very good natural middleweights. That's no knock on Tito, just a really tough matchup. Chocolatito ran into the same wall once he got to his 4th class and even his ATG offensive game lost some of its effectiveness.

 

We did this for Jacobs and Canelo. Tito is not Geale. Tito is an elite. We dont know what GGG we get. Power or no power. Old overnight or the unstoppable monster. Very legitimate point.

 

Canelo is naturally bigger, stronger and sturdier than Tito, and Jacobs on fight night was probably 20lbs naturally heavier than tito !

 

Tito is an inch taller than Canelo. Probably has a longer reach. I don't think G is the same caliber as Bhop nor RJJ. Jacobs has been KTFO. G for some reason wasn't able to stop him. Tito has never been knocked out cold like DJ lol

 

Jacobs has never been knocked cold, he handled the knock down against pirog very stupidly, he could've beat the count ! Hopkins imo had the same level of opposition as GGG if you take out Tito and Oscar at 160 lb. I believe what your seeing is a 80-90% GGG now. Hes lost a step and a half imo..And hes still the best at 160 just about !
