I never said you predicted the Turk would win, you said he was an ever tougher test than BJS, in reply to me at that.

eubank doesn't want to fight tough fights

He had chances to fight Jacobs and golovkin and he would of lost to both but ran away

I never said he was the toughest I asked the question if he was the toughest go read the thread again.

Anyway I don't mind admitting I overestimated the turks ability no shame in that but the reality still is Eubank has not fought a decent fighter since he fought saunders

He had chances to fight Jacobs and golovkin but passed instead to fight tom doran

He might have said that but I think he was just baffled agaisnt the awkward southpaw movement. He did come out strong in the last 6, but remember that Saunders always fades in the 2nd half of his fights.

Never got the point of it. It's more fun as a fan to allow yourself to be wrong and surprised at how things turn out than to rewrite history nonstop so you're always right.

I thought Yildirim would bring more to the table than he showed tonight, but that doesn't mean he forgot how to fight all the sudden. Eubank's performance was a pleasant surprise, and he looks like he'll be a force in the tournament.

Yes, I do. I've actually been cheering on every single one of Eubanks opponents prior to tonight as I hated his arrogant personality but he has grown on me. And despite this, I've still been saying he is the real deal. GGG is my favourite fighter but Eubank beats him and it would be dangerous for Golovkin's health - can u imagine the uppercuts combined with GGGs chin. See, here's the difference, I can praise a fighter even if I don't like him unlike most fickle boxing fans. All the Eubank naysayers know he is an animal deep down.

Entertaining fight and props to Eubank jr. for first round victory. That said, he was all over the place even the third round. His coordination is poor compared to the absolute best like GGG, Canelo, Ward etc. He has good attributes and guys like Yildirum have no chance against his speed and volume, but Groves is no one dimensional plodder like Yildirum. IMO Smith and Groves are still favorites to win the tournament.

Would love to see it. Only Canelo and Charlo have a chance of beating him.

While he has a chance to win there is little chance of an easy win for Eubank, there is levels to this game and Groves is way better then Yildirim was.

Cej would best groves 10/10x and by tko 7/10x.
Cej is more talented and far tougher. Cej will be able to handle groves power all night while after 4 rounds groves will be a sitting duck for cej to tee off on.

And I'm a big groves fan but certain fighters ater l aren't capable (no matter what) of beating certain fighters. This is one with only 2 outcomes,
