Kinda interesting that losing to the Bodysnatcher is probably the one loss that's kept both Curry and the Hawk out.

I know it's never exactly great to lose, but it's Mike Motherfudgin' McCallum here, and the prime 154 version at that. Seems like a tough break that both guys haven't made the cut yet.

Good post. Heavyweights always get more nods than non heavyweights. Look how Bowe got in last year and I don't think Bowe was any better than Donald Curry who probably will not get in this year.. Could be popularity, but his reign was decent. Long career. Some of the names were not as great or impressive as his brother had, but his Lennox fight followed by 12 title defenses-I think it was 12. I think he is a lock to go in just on that, and his brother's legacy is sort of linked with his together. I wouldn't pick McGirt either. I would pick Meldrick. As a matter of fact, the way Meldrick beat McGirt Idon't see how Buddy could be picked before Meldrick. Donald Curry and Meldrick on who is better is interesting. Similar careers in that they both sort of fell apart after the first loss, but Meldrick had the big Chavez fight and controversy which stands out for him.

I think Julian is going to get in eventually if not this year. Some of his knockouts were just that good. The Herol Graham knockout and Buster Drayton, or even Norris were incredible. His style was different. Sometimes he looked like he was losing and the knockouts came out of nowhere. Scary. Almost like he lulled the person into a false sense of security and set up the cleanest punch and knocked them cold.

They have until October 31st, votes won't be tallied or results announced until after that.

    What article did you read?

    Calderon!

Surprised to hear people say Erik Morales. A lot of those folks seem to imply they have a zero tolerance for any cheating.

I must say that IBHOF seriously lacks credibility to measure boxers' career achievements and that their "selection" doesn't either give or take anything regarding somebody's career in my opinion. With that being said, Vitali Klitschko is probably the safest pick and will most likely get the most votes.

From the above mentioned list, I'd pick Vitali, Eubank, Maske, Rosi and Curry.

I have a question. The timing of Vitali saying he will fight Joshua is very odd since it comes right when people would vote for him in the Hall of Fame. Would this affect people not voting for him, if they think a fight might be scheduled with Joshua about the time he is inducted?
