Lara had GGG beating Canelo, pans dodgy scorecards

El Pollo thought that Golovkin had aged enough to beat him but he was wrong. El Pollo's wing punch was not good enough. According to Hopkins, El Pollo will punch Golovkin in the testicles like SOB did to Kovalev. So we know what to expect. Tony Weeks will be the referee..............

 

Lara is correct.

What I find ironic are the Canelo fans who claimed their man beat Lara as Lara ran the whole fight, yet flip the coin to say Canelo who used the same tactics only less effective won the fight.

Look at these stats.

Canelo was the "GGG" v Lara and he threw more but was outlanded yet won; 97/415 to Lara's 107/386.

Canelo was "Lara" against GGG in which he threw and landed less yet got a draw; 169/505 to GGG 218/703.

 

First of all, you don't score a fight by counting punches. You need to make an assessment of how clean, impactful and effective each punch lands. As you know, a fighter can win a round by landing less punches if his punches are more effective and impactful, as was the Case in Canelo vs Lara. Lara may have outlanded Canelo but his punches were largely not effective. Mostly just light jabs from the outside and the occasional overhand right that rarely landed clean. Lara was moving away from Canelo for longer more consistent periods of time than Canelo was moving away from G.

 

He may have been moving more but he was landing just as good.

Whether it's a jab, a body shot, etc it's still a scoring shot.

GGG was more dominant against Canelo than Canelo was against Lara.

For the record I had Canelo beating Lara 115-113 and GGG beating Canelo 117-111.

 

That's funny because yesterday you said you had it 8 rounds to 4 for G, which is 116-112. Now today you're saying you have it 9 rounds to 3? Well which is it?

 

Actually if you look at all my previous posts regarding the fight I said 9-3/8-4.

Take it or leave it,there was nothing funny about the robbery that night.

 

I know how bent out of shape you are over it. Do you cry yourself to sleep over it every night? Does it still give you nightmares that G couldn't beat Canelo and Canelo put a dent on G's record lmao.

 

I'm not the one bitching and moaning trying to convince everybody that my man won.

I as do the general consensus believe that Golovkin was robbed, he out worked and outlanded Canelo. I'm a fan of both fighters unlike you who is on here talking like some spurned lover.

Canelo even got booed after the fight, life's good because Golovkin is still the champion and deep down you know Canrlo got lucky.

The ironic thing is everybody called it, now if you are going to talk, talk boxing facts instead of chelping on.

Well you're the one screaming robbery claiming your man won. There's a lot of bitching and moaning involved in screaming robbery. And I'll have you know that I'm in fact a fan of both fighters as well.

 

Thats because it was a robbery but I'm not making up imaginary scenarios, or imaginary happenings or different ways to try and justify it.

 

Neither am I. The difference is that I'm not screaming robbery and constantly bitching and moaning about it. I'm not in denial about the result of the fight, which was a draw. You are. That's the difference.

 

I've said it was a robbery......it was, other than that I have more important things to be getting on with in life.

There's only one person bitching and that's you, GGG isn't even my "favourite" fighter.....there's a better fight in Dec when Cuban glass is to be shattered all over the ring.
