I had Judah beating Garcia back then, i thought that Broner beat Paulie with ease. But i was 14 back then, so who knows.
I'm noticing that a lot of my scorecards lately fall in line with the judges' scores and it's not until later that I realize a sea of outrage has broken loose among fans. I had Ward and Canelo beating Kov and GGG close. I had Horn beating Pac. I though Jacobs edged GGG too. I thought Mayweather won wide in the first Maidana fight. My worst card ever was probably Hamed over Barrera. I thought the fight was mostly posing with little to choose from at the time.
I had Jorge Ahumada beating Bob Foster in Foster's last Lthvy defense. (it was a draw). Ahumada was always barely on the short end of a bunch of fights with great Lthvies of the 70's.
Spinks vs Holmes 2. I gave the first 5 rounds to Holmes, after that Spinks in my opinion was landing the cleaner more effective punches, while Larry was flailing away.
Me too. I thought it looked like Larry sure wanted one of those face first guys he'd been fighting for years, didn't it? Plodders. Not a moving target and a guy that circled better than he did, at that time. Funny how the guys that circle and retreat give so many problems to the older guys who utilized that same skill themselves.
Me too. But fighting in the other guy's backyard is just not the recipe for winning the close decisions in boxing, is it?
I thought the Canelo-GGG draw was fine. I thought Hughie Fury edged Parker. Shavers beat Ali, in my opinion.
