If they're desperate for a shot at Joshua.

The 'you have to fight in America' argument is only valid when the main talent/highest paycheck is there....it isn't currently.

e.g. When Hatton and Calzaghe travelled to the US, it was because they were fighting bigger names in hopkins, mayweather and getting bigger paychecks etc.

Joshua vs Whyte 2 will make more £££ currently than Joshua vs either Parker/Wilder.

    Simple really.....

Parker vs Wilder on Joshua vs Whyte 2 undercard.

Winner fights winner, loser fights loser.

Whyte gets the World title shot he wants.
Parker/Wilder get the shot at a career high payday and Joshua.
Joshua gets the biggest money available to him currently and in the future fight against either Wilder or Parker.

Bit harsh on Joshua given he has fought and KO'd a future Hall of Famer and also beaten a guy who Wilder has refused too.

Wilder is a total embarrassment though.

He's from the US and holds a belt, yet has no profile whatsoever.

Parker, I can forgive slightly, as you're never going to be a big name coming from New Zealand, but at least he's actually travelled to face a 'future/potential' contender in young Hughie.

I think the Parker fight will happen within the next 6-8 months. Wilder thinks he's too big to fight Whyte in England for a career high payday. Parker fought a risky and bad style in Fury in his own backyard.......

If Wilder comes over to fight Joshua, I can see Showtime insisting that it starts at 3am in the morning to accommodate its prime time US viewers.

And how exactly are they going to achieve this?

They have nothing to barter with.....

Showtime wont have any control or authority as they are not going to be the host Broadcaster, that will be Sky.Sky will get piority if it is held in the UK,vice versa if it is in the US.Unless Showtime insist something outrageous, that they wont televise the fight in the US,unless the time suits them, then it will probably get included in the contracts.

Yep, Parker has already gone to the UK and beaten one of the people who many many UK fans said would not be even a competitive fight because of styles in his home town. He was never going to be able to look good in that setting against that guy but a win is a win - let alone on UK soil. I am not sure if he will fight in the UK again soon or not, the Furys have shown how little class Team Parker are likely to be shown if they show up there... Team Fury arguably managed to REDUCE Parker's profile which defeats the purpose of going to the UK.

Going to the US where they may get a half decent promotion may actually be the best move for now, or fighting Lucas Browne where the UK, US and European fans all actually know him but there is also the local NZ/Oz friendly rivalry to drum up local interests.
