sometimes i feel hes pulling his punches, hes not closing the distance to land huge meaninigful punches, but merely landing jabs alone, he looks quite casual in the ring, i have watched the last 15 fights of golovkin and he does not come out with the same intensity, as if hes had enough of the sport. Jacobs was oversized and speedy, Canelo has elite skills and defensively aware, Brook has good speed and great mid range fighting but they are no more DANGEROUS than rubio, lemieux, stevens.. ggg senses danger and boxings accordingly. if he does not fear the damage, he will run right through you. something tellls me he is passion has gone, but not physically, but mentally, he drove enough body shots into his last two opponents, he would stopped them.
watch the way hes throwing his punches. brook was no danger and ggg could have gone kamikaze on him, but it looked like he spared him a full blown KO.
I've been saying it a while. Every thing is off with him. Hes not punching as venomously anymore either. Trading far too much on that chin of his...I'm not saying this to get attention as G's my favourite fighter, but hes done. Hes going to get beat very very soon by someone who wants it more and its gonna give all the pricks on here that hate for no reason a great moment. He looks like hes going through the motions. Is it me or do his punches look weaker with every fight ?
youre a huge ggg fan, i am not, but a fan. Im strictly a BJS supporter in mw, i even liked khurtidze above ggg. the thing is hes gone through the whole mw roster with not too much trouble, and i though jacobs with his 20lb weight advantage would do it, but he couldnt lol. canelo against ggg, who may now be aggressive, ginger is getting hurt.
60% ko ratio says high, and Rubio only has a strong ko ratio against cab drivers He might be a big puncher but he doesn't have the skill to land the blows
