Strip Joshua of his ped stack and we'd see a fight.

You have to put it in perspective. Yeah sizewise those skills are great, you are right! But your example is like comparing the skills betwen modern day cruisers and SHW's. Saying cruiser's gonna win just based on skills.

    But still in reality:

    Washington>Chambers

Ok even at 210 the same applies,Cornish was only mentioned because josh has fought him and he’s in this era of new improved athleticism you mentioned, just like you using Wepner as a yardstick in an earlier post, Look we are not going to agree you posted your points I have posted mine,Only time will tell how good josh will be, Personally I think he is too big(muscled ) not great footwork good power and reasonable hand speed, I don’t think he would beat a focused Fury,And Fury’s power isn’t great for such a big man let’s hope that Joshua isn’t just another hype job.

Joshua has already proved hes not hype. Hes come through a good acid test against Wlad who had whipped himself in to great shape as shown by his performance and wanted the win bad. AJ looks over muscled agreed. Not splitting hairs, or perhaps I am, but Ali was 6ft 2". He looked shorter to me than Norton who's 6ft 3" and Foreman 6ft 3 1/2". I think Dundee said it too that Ali was bang on 6ft 2".

    His passport says 6"2' 1/2.
Passport height are mrasured with shoes on..

You are bang on. Also he was 6"2 in many tale of the tapes.

The same goes for many fighters. Kenny norton were measured at 6"2 3/4 in the army. Ali were not taller than him. Or holmes or Foreman..

I don’t think a 41 year old fighter is a great acid test, He may have looked good but your reactions are not the same,Punch resistance is diminished,Stamina has to be well down or there would have been a lot more 40 year old champions in the heavyweight division before,Especially as he didn’t demolish him early.Surley you can see that point can’t you. And as for Ali 6ft2 6ft3 don’t think it would make much odds but there are a lot of tale of tape posters with Ali height at 6ft3 and Wikipedia says it,I never met him so I have to go with the majority of information out there and that is 6ft3. No doubt someone will dig up a poster with 6ft2 on it and I will have to dig up several with 6ft3 on it but I hope not.

The proof is when hes standing next to some one. To many fighters listed at 6ft 3" have looked taller than Ali for me to accept anything else. AJ fought a very good Wlad with no great mileage on the clock and was in supreme condition. I rate it as a very good win.

I doubt many boxing fans will, Mainly because of his age. Klitschko got old against fury who showed him angles and speed like Ali would have done, Klitschko fancied Joshua because of his boxing limitations at this stage in his career. ie poor speed, stamina, footwork etc but the fact Klitschko was old had lost that extra speed, stamina, endurance, the punch resistance he possessed as a younger champion did for him in the latter rounds and so it came to pass.

You're cherry picking Ali's weight when he was under 25. Even in the late 60's before his license was suspended Ali was consistently over 210lbs. Depending on the size of his opponent and how they fought Ali would adjust his weight accordingly.

Majority on here thought that was a very good performance by Wlad. Klit also fancied AJ as he knew there wasn't a hope in Wilder fighting him and AJ had the belts. You cannot compare Fury and Ali. Theres to much size difference

Ali was never a 16 stone fighter in his prime, 15 and not much over. What are you saying then 212/13

As you know I don’t believe in the size difference when an heavyweight is 6ft2 or 6ft3 and 210-220lbs

That would be false bc Ali weighed closer and averaged 205 in the 60's. He would NOT weigh over 215 at this time period bc he would then have to readjust his style and body who was coming from a 175 /190 pound Am career at one time and consider getting hit more ,which he wouldn't want.

Ali averaged a weight of 205 in the 60's ,he was not consistently over 210 thats just misinformation right there and anyone can look up his fight weights ? Many cruiser weights around that weight have fast hands nowadays. How fast was Ali above 220 pounds (standard Modern HW ) ?

Wlad Klitchko at 240/250 much more impressive for me as well as Joshua . Two of the very fastest who can still weigh over 240 and maintain speed ,Ali never showed he could do that weighing closer to 220. Its easier to move around the ring at sub 200/210 pounds but you still need to score points and or not get knocked out to win right? :babeando:

You know Ali used to reportedly inject Nandrolone in his hands after fights right? Steroids were legal back then so whos to say who were on them or when they took them. It would be far harder to get by adavanced tests today then even a ped epidimeic was in the 60's/70's and Joshua is tested more than anyone.
