If a 15 to 16 stone man at 6ft3 full of muscle hits a 17 to 17.5 stone man at 6ft 5 or 6ft9 he will still feel the repocussions, these are big men I don’t think it makes any odds if there is skill involved which there is with Ali and many other similar size hall of famers, again Holmes , Holyfield, norton, foreman, etc

The size difference is more than that with what we are talking about. We are talkin about a 6ft 2" 210lb fighter against the super heavys of today not the difference in what Ali weighed through out his career. The best Ali is pre exile in your opinion, to some extent your right. When he came back he was slower in all areas but more sturdy imo.

This. Sanders, who was only 1inch taller than Ali, but for the most part the same size crushed a prime 240lb Wlad.

Pre exile imo wasn't the best Ali, best moving version yes without a doubt. He does not soak up Foreman or Frazier and get the win with the 60's version. Somewhere in his exile was the best that we never got to see ! He came back matured and tougher. All opinion, not shoving it down any one's throat ! John Roberts, Ali isn't making a dent with the supers I mentioned with his punch power end of ! He wasn't a puncher with smaller men add 40lbs and well, you get the picture !

This is my last reply Ali weighed 215lbs against Liston his first championship fight age 22 and around that weight give or take a couple of pounds up to exile age 25 if at Joshua’s age 27 he was fighting he would have been at least that 215lbs, has his weight in return to ring in 70s was nearer 220lbs, where are you getting this info from, google Liston tale of tape google Folley tale of tape google Williams tale of tape and post it if it wasn’t I will apologise. But even at 210 I really don’t think it matters ie Holyfield bowe, ie Byrd Klitschko ie Holmes coney ie McCall Lewis ie Tyson ruddock ie sanders Klitschko and many many more.

Wickipedia is saying Ali was 210 and Liston 218. Sorry fella your exaggerating Ali's weight to suit your story. You google that ! Everyone knows ali was a 210 fighter in the years that you've chosen as his prime. Could you please post the page so we can clarify and put it to bed ???

2" taller a stone heavier a southpaw and a punch that would lay you out...Fast as **** too...Ali and Sanders don't compare. Ali beats him but its not pure domination. Styles . You think Ali's matching What Sanders done to Wlad ???? Do you understand the term "styles make fights" at all

Steward in Wlads corner vs Ali would be disasterous for Ali and a vey long night of a jab that would be hitting him constantly, and that wlad left hook? Am i to believe far less talents hit Ali all the time with that punch but Wlad cant?Talk about twilight zone logic.

As for Sanders, well Wlad didnt train for a southpaw leading up to that fight. Meanwhile Ali struggled and actually gets buckled from a body punch in the later rnds by 195 Mildenberger who wasnt even a power puncher,so what southpaw would actually be harder to fight..the smaller weaker one who cuts easy( he actually fought Ali with one eye half the fight too) or the one whos a very fast puncher with power?Im pretty sure the Vitali fight with Sanders would show us right? lol

Its madness, might as well give Ali x ray vision too whats the difference? ...( to Alis credit he did knockout Superman in the comics back in the day of course they had to take Superman's powers away for that to happen) lol

It really would have nothing to with the other,as this is what the feeble minded do,compare a 6'4 230 southpaw as if that has any meaning on a Klitchko vs Ali match??? :crazylick:

put it to bed then, but you are not listening to what I am saying. Your whole argument is that a 6ft"2 or 3 210lbs heavyweight cant live with your so called elite super heavies when the very fighters you have mentioned as elite supers have been beaten or drawn or BEEN TAKEN THE DISTANCE by same height and weight fighters as Ali ie Holyfield fought Bowe at 208 pounds, and Bowe was 246lbs, Holyfield stands 6ft"2 Bowe stands 6ft"5 reach 77inch,Holy 81inch Bowe. Chris Byrd weighed 213lbs and stood 6ft2 and beat Vitali 6ft" 6 and 248lbs. Lamon Brewster 6ft"2 or 3 and 220lbs beat Wlad 6ft"6 and 246lbs, Holyfield drew with Lennox we know Holyfield stats Lennox 6ft5 245lbs.There are many more examples, So how can you say 210-220lbs fighters would just get knocked out or cant push supers on the back foot or hurt them when I have seen it with my own eyes, your whole argument doesn't make sense because it has already happened many times, unless you are saying BYRD OR BREWSTER are the greatest fighters of all time.We know Ali wasn't the heaviest puncher in the world but his power was underated,But its no secret he won by tko mainly or UD just like the examples given, so give up the ghost pal Ali would definitely have gone the distance and probably won by tko or UD,He could also have got knocked out but I doubt it. ps he certainly wouldn't have crumbled by the extra 30lbs because BYRD,HOLYFIELD,AND BREWSTER DIDNT so you have no where to go, and don't say styles make fights because I know that, But your argument like most of the posters on here is the same, an Ali size heavy cant live with the supers but I have justed proved they can, And of course Ali also has other attributes which we have talked about many times before speed, chin, boxing knowledge, guile, ect this is definitely my last post because its boring going round and round.

Sorry mate, but that's fake. Never have I heard them two weighing the same EVER ! Bowe was 235 v Holy 205, again exaggerated. Mate, why comeback sweating with lies?? I'm talking Ali at 210, now its 210-220 in your eyes. Holy had great infighting skills, Ali had Zero, That effects him v Bowe.. Why don't you want me to say "styles makes fights" because it don't back your point? Its a perfect phrase used because it makes perfect sense, and it comes in to play in every fight that's ever happened..
