So it looks like Garcia and Linares are going to go seperate routes, and according to boxing scene, Robert Easter is a lead candidate to face Garcia in december 16 or january, terrific fight it would be a WBC/IBF belt hopefully it happens, and if Garcia fights and beats Easter, he is my fighter of the year for 2017.

Yes, good fight. Linares vs Flanagan is also a possibility, hopefully both happen and the winners meet.

Hopefully, what is your pick for Garcia vs Easter and Linares vs Flanagan?

    Garcia and Linares. Both comfortably.

Shame we won't see those two in a unification, they are de facto #1 and 2 in the division.

Also Garcia and Linares. And Garcia to crack Linares' chin if the two meet afterwards.

What happened to the Linares fight? Isn't it a WBC mandatory?

That's a great fight. Easter Island isn't easy to conquer. Mikey's going to have to be on his A game.

Give Campbell the rematch. Big UK money in it. I had him winning by 1 point.

Very good fight if Linares doesn't fall through. Easter
would go down swinging for sure. I favor Mikey but
Easter's dimensions are quite the wrinkle, he's damn near 5 inches
taller and he can wing shots, and has shown some fortitude.

Robert Easter is packing glass jaw. He better stay away from Mickey.

great fight, mikey couldnt of went wrong, he had lots of options. this is a good fight. just as good as linares fight. easter gonna try n revenge his boy broner. i like easter alot i think hes really good, but mikey is the man i dont think anyone at 135 or 140 can take him. bud is on the way up to 147 , sense hes gone 135-140 mikey prolly gonna own that untill he decides to move up to 147. i hope garcia vs easter is at 140 but easter not gunna do that . easter wants this at 135 . i can see mikey trying to make fight at 140 tho

How he makes 135 is a mystery to me.

Usually guys freakishly tall in divisions lack punch resistance, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for Easter so far.

Then again, he hasn't fought a master boxer-puncher like Mikey yet, either.

Easter is a hard day's work for any lightweight. If Mikey makes it look easy, that's one heck of a statement
