Why does Golovkin gets criticism but Crawford doesn't

The reason GGG's head got snapped back more is because He's got a neck. Canelo doesn't have a neck, his shoulders pretty much join his ears so it's much harder to see the impact of GGG's punches without Canelo having a neck. If Canelo wears a smart shirt, the peak of the collar touches his chin.

No because Canelo's were more clean and not putty pat pump jabs. Here folks. Let's try this at home. Throw a triple jab. Now try a quadruple jab.

Now throw 5 rapid jabs in a row. Do you feel like you're really getting power on those? Now that's half of the punches according to compubox landed on Canelo's dome. Those aren't effective shots. Those are stay busy shots.

Those are to make you look like you're doing something, not to be effective. Also understand Canelo was elusive and moving so imagine the sting taken off by trying to pinpoint a pump jab.

This and walking forward is what you guys are trying to give credit too for Golovkin, the monster who was originally being ducked by scared Canelo and who was supposed to KO Canelo easy.

Now G is a victim just like every other hypejob. The excuses you guys make up. Canelo has a neck.

    There is no
So what you saying? That Canelo hits harder than GGG? Of course if Canelo doesn't have a neck than you won't see the full impact of GGG's work with dramatic head knockbacks. If Canelo had a neck like GGG then his head would be going back twice as far as GGG's. I admit that GGG didn't have great timing that night, but head knockbacks is to do with necks and not power in this instance.

I also find it funny....It's just a bit odd that the Golden Boy fighter who happens to be one of the biggest stars in the sport had been able to pick the judges ahead of the fight and it ended with a very suspect decision. Not just suspicious but almost blatant in nature. That means that 2 out of the 3 judges saw a completely different fight than 90%+ of the overwhelming audience saw that night. It was just as funny and suspect when they recorded a draw for the first fight between Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield.

He was the harder puncher that night. Little probing jabs don't snap a head back. You said Saul's head wasn't snapped back because he has no neck.

Yeah and i stand by that. If i punched Naseem Hamed in the face twenty years ago his head would go back like a Jack-in-the-box, but if i punched Naseem Hamed in the face now then you would see little sign of impact, because he's got no neck now. That does not mean my punch is less powerful. It means that when you have a neck, then your neck works as a punch shock absorber and takes away much of the concussive power of the punch. And seeing as Canelo has no neck then sure, we don't see the dramatic impact of GGG's punches with head knockbacks, but we do know that because of this, the punches are doing way more damage to Canelo because he has no neck to absorb them with. This is obvious isn't it?

It's too funny. One of the effective jabs that did snap Canelo's head back was showcased by hbo at the end of the 7th round. It was the only time they tried to highlight G's monstrous jab.

He lands but you see Canelo about to land right back and the screen immediately blanks white. Lara was popping Canelo's head back for some odd reason. So was Floyd. I guess Canelo lost his neck after those fights.

The jab was effective and he used it intelligently. GGG used the jab as the foundation of his overall fight strategy. Everything worked off the jab. Sometime the jab was meant to inflict more damage than others...He'd double or triple the jab to score points while also moving Alvarez into position for the right hand or left hook. I think some of you are over critical of his use of the jab because of how Golovkin was able to use it effectively throughout the fight. Alvarez did the same thing with some of his punches. A lot of Alvarez's punches were not meant to blast GGG with bad intentions but to keep GGG away while scoring points. The only difference besides the overall punch output was Alvarez was moving backwards and GGG was moving forward.

Johnny...I applaud your effort and intelligence here. But I hope you realize absolutely NOTHING will enter that idiot's head, especially if it makes 3G look good.

I'm sure you're right but I believe these guys have to know that their arguments are beyond flawed. They obviously know boxing but it's clear they have something against this guy.
