I think at the beginning of his "reign" Vitali could have come out of retirement and beaten him without much issue. But father time is no joke.

Would be by far the best name on Deonkey's cv (the 46yo version that is)..

Be great if Vitali waited until he got in the Hall of Fame, then came back and smoked Wilder:campeon:

If Vitalis hungry he should test the waters against Duhaupas or Hammer before jumping in with AJ or Wilder... Although personally I'd like to see him leave the gloves on the wall. No need to tarnish his legacy or risk his good health.

Vitali gets flattened by any top heavyweight at this point. He's 46 and was suffering from injuries when he was active back in 2012. Foreman and Hopkins were at least active when they won titles in their late 40's. Vitali should focus on his political career.

okay so what can happen is him come out of retirement and force wilder a fight, he'd beat him and then force a unification fight with joshua and it wouldnt look like a ridiculous move instead of him just wanting to fight joshua out of nowhere because the public wouldnt buy it.

I think he's better off diving right in, if he's going to do it. I was amazed how sharp he looked against Peter, and thought the time away did him a lot of good. That, of course, was like 9 years ago! So perhaps expecting something similar is foolish. But I never thought he looked quite as sharp as he did that night during his comeback.
