Honestly, who has had more fame and success as AJ at THIS stage of his career?

Americans are more intrested in MMA. It's like saying, Americans don't know who Messi is because egg-shaped handball is more popular than football.

A lot people who follow boxing here actually think the fight would be a 50/50, including Larry Holmes. lol

But he became champ in his 28 th fight. He sold 700k in his 35 th fight against Spinks.

Which win is better in your opinion? Wladimir or Berbick? Beating Wlad was a far bigger challenge than aging Berbick!

He wouldn't have today. Producing a game on the NES could be done within a week or less.

What relevance does this have to the discussion? If anything, his size works against him.

Tyson was a pro less than two years. Tyson was 20 years old (not 28). Berbick was better than Charles Martin. Larry Holmes and Wlad Klitschko are on par with one another. Both were former champs and neither had won a fight in years. (Holmes was actually younger.)

Tyson made $22 million fighting Spinks 30 years ago. (What would that $22 million be in todays' dollars?)

A young Tyson was also hawking video games (Mike Tyson's Punch Out) and Pepsi cola and was a monster product endorsing star in Japan.

Tyson and Bruno would've sold out Wembley had they fought as scheduled in 1988.

Tyson was definitely a bigger star than Joshua. Hell, Tyson is more well known all over the world than Joshua is today, and he's long since retired.

And basically every home today has access to PPV. That certainly WAS NOT the case in 1988. Hell, the Hagler-Leonard fight was on Closed Circuit the year before. PPV in your home hadn't caught on yet at all. Certainly not like it is today, where people use it daily.

Amazing for a 4 year pro.
Wilder, during his 3 year(*a few months shy) title run, has made a little over 8.5 mil.

    Joshua just has it all:
    The it factor.
    The Gold medal.
The timing(old but relative Wlad, boxing boom in the UK)
    The right promoter.

We all know exactly who he is and how great he is and how much greater (already the greatest h2h hw ever. Should say we know how much greater his name will become)

Guess i should say, every single sport fan know who he is
