Honestly, who has had more fame and success as AJ at THIS stage of his career?

most had fought a 40something on the way up but just towards becoming contenders, not for a title.

lowered standards mean the 40something is fighting for a title these days.

Holmes wasn't close to Wlad? Holmes made 20 successful title defenses. Lost a decision to Spinks. Rematched Spinks and everyone thought Holmes won.

Who thought Wlad beat Tyson Fury? Who looked worse in their last outing, Holmes against Spinks in the rematch or Wlad against Fury?

Holmes' build never looked like Wlad's. But if you don't think Larry Holmes was on par with Wlad Klitschko, you're high.

Football equals what you call soccer anywhere other than North America. It's you guys who are the odd ones out there.

His physique has probably helped him to win fights and to be more marketable.

Mike was the youngest HW champion of all time. He unified the division in a historic run that has been unmatched. I think Tyson's accomplishments are better overall compared to where Joshua is at this stage of his career. Ali is another one to consider. Joshua deserves credit. He's impressive

So if someone said you watching the football on Saturday you'd assume they meant Gaelic football would you? Pull the other one!

Are we going by age, number of fights, number of years as a pro?

His fight purses are extremely impressive for someone with the low number of pro fights he has had. $15-20 million for each fight this year? Very impressive. Hopefully it won't cause him to lose some hunger. But he's been a pro for four years. Look at how huge Mike Tyson was within four years of his pro debut. Sugar Ray Leonard too.

Number of fights? Leon Spinks beat Muhammad Ali in his 8th pro fight. He was well known, he beaten friggin Ali of all people. Old or not, Ali was a global icon.
