Star Boxing returns to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Saturday, November 25 as WBC International Cruiserweight Champion and WBC Continental Americas Cruiserweight Champion Constantin Bejenaru (12-0, 3 KOs), of Brooklyn, NY defends his titles against #1 ranked mandatory contender Thabiso “The Rock” Mchunu (18-3, 13 KOs) of Cato Ridge, South Africa, in the ten round main event.

Bejenaru is coming off two victories seen on the popular Showtime series ShoBox: The New Generation, over fellow contenders Stivens Bujaj and Alexey Zubov. Mchunu challenged Oleksandr Usyk for the WBO cruiserweight title last year and holds a victory over Eddie Chambers.

I'm going with Bejenaru. He has faster feet than Mchunu, can cut angles better and has better work rate. But the thing that will cause Mchunu the most trouble will be Bejenaru's relentless pressure, he isn't good when he is seriously pressured. Bejenaru by KO. If Bejenaru wins he will be on his way to a title shot.

Mchunu UD. He'll bank the early-mid rounds before fading around 7. Bejenaru doesn't have the power to stop him.

Mchunu by schooling or late KO, Bejanaru is okay, but nothing spectacular, although this being in CT, does give me pause, it might be another Nieves-Potapov type situation.

Think about Mchunus losses. Mwekassa(a savage puncher despite his limitations) Makabu another savage puncher and a 50/50 fight on paper(that might I add us CW aficionados DREAMED about for ages) he was winning that before fading. Oh yeah.... and Usyk you know, the man in the division, a future top 3 P4P fighter and CW atg. I see absolutely zero than Bejanaru brings to the table that will cause him problems - at least going by his track record.

A ridiculous statement, I bet that you haven't seen any of Bejenaru fights.

How so? Yeah and I've only followed the overwhelming majority of his pro career.

Yeah I mean... Because Bejenaru has savage power like Makabu and Mwekassa and would have eaten their shots too, oh yeah and he totally wouldn't have gotten beaten down and stopped against Usyk like Mchunu did.

I advise you to watch his amateur fights. Really doubt he would stop Bejenaru, he never gasses in his fights but Mchunu always gasses against better opponents. And Mchunu will gass once again against Bejenaru. Doubt Mchunu can keep up with Bejenaru's work rate.

Amateur smamateur. That's not the end all be all for a fighters potential or ceiling in the pros. He has looked far from great since going pro, and looked very hittable in his last fight... You don't think Makabu or Usyk could stop him???? Seriously? I do think Mchunus gas tank will be an issue here - that we're on the same page on... But if he wins 1-5 and then a round or two later on it won't matter if he fades - since Bejenaru is far from being a big puncher.

I could be mistaken... But didn't you also tip Muller to beat Mchunu? Mchunu shut out Miller(who is decent) over 12.

Yeah, I was but Mchunu still was KO'd cold in his 3 loses. Bejenaru has too much of an experience to lose to Mchunu. If Mchunu will beat Bejenaru than I am wrong in my assessment but Mchunu will always lose to best, mark my words.

Against hard punchers. Something Bejenaru isn't.

Amateur experience/success/pedigree doesn't always equate to success in the pros. Tony Thompson, Hasim Rahman and Ray Austin had very little amateur experience - yet all 3 have wins of opponents with FAR superior amateur credentials.
