I gotta admit I chuckled a little when I was listening to the post fight interview with the Charlos. They don't play around. People might not like them because of their attitudes but I'm actually starting to warm up to them, oddly enough.
Them Charlo twins ain't no joke. I've seen them here in Houston a couple of times in the club and they run with some rough cats to.
I didn't like them at first, but they are both knocking the snot out of people lately and I am impressed with both of them even though I don't know which one is which. Shame they can't fight each other, but there are plenty of fights out there for both of them.
It took me a bit to get sold on them not being hypejobs initially, but full credit where it's due. Both have shown solid growth and improvement and are legit championship level fighters.
You have guys back then like Duran, Tyson, Norris, McClellan, Jones jr, etc that knocked guys the hell out and showed that brash mean streak and everyone loved them. But when it's the Charlos brothers people dislike them. I don't get it.
Trash talk is usually only annoying when- you are Keith Thurman, and when you can't back it up, i.e. Broner.
