Mikkel Kessler comeback

    Mikkel kessler's comeback fight against Roamer Alexis Angulo 11. nov, has been postponed, Mikkel got bit by a tick and got infected with
    Lyme disease, he was treated in time and hopefully will not suffer any further, he has been on antibiotics for 28 days, comeback will be around march next year.

    Surely he doesn't need the money? Why on earth is he coming back. i suppose like the majority, they just cant stay away.

    Depends on what his aspirations are. If he wants another title, then i would agree with you. But if he wants to just have a few more fights(at a lower level), why stop him?

    Just wish they could get the thrill through training and spars at a gym out of sight.

    I guess I just like Kessler.

    Thing is, they like the crowd and big occasions and being the centre of attention...Their ego's always cloud their judgement !

    I know. Wish they could try stage or film acting to get that thrill, though. Or become passionate in something like climbing mountains or surfing while never having any social media account and the next 10 years zoom by and it's too late for a comeback and the only thing we've heard from them is watching a fight of theirs on youtube...

    kessler wasnt scared of ward, he fought him.

    though i get you arent calling him a coward.zaghe, bute and groves didnt figth ward either.

    Why would he be afraid of Ward? He was fouled more than anyone else by that dirty SOB. Not to mention he was already planning his comeback before Ward threw his diva fit over HBO not accepting one of his bum fights.

    The guy is 38 yrs old, hasn't fought since May, 2013. I'll bet he's spent whatever he's earned and badly
    need the money.

    He should fight McGregor....probably make more money. It's been a long time since Ireland and
    Denmark were at war. All those slaves the Vikings had in Dublin are crying out from their graves
    for this bout! :lupie:
