Your making it up as you go along...I didn't see anyone saying it was a 3 round fight let a lone most, and you want to debate that ??? So basically you want some ones opinion on something that was never mentioned. It was always a distance fight or a mercy stoppage very late in 99% of fans on heres opinions...Your a hater

 

I predicted a robbery. In the end it wasn't a complete robbery but G certainly won. 6,4 & 2 even for me. For GGG. Canelo did well but draw was unfair.

Predicted Kovalev would get robbed versus Ward in the first too & Ward would probably win the second.

Proska was top 5. Hes been corrected on this before, he completely ignored it.

 

Not sure about Proska's ranking but I clearly remember Geale, Macklin and Murray being in the top5 by ring. In fact, at the time they fought GGG, you could easily argue Geale had better resume than Lemmy.

ITT a lot of emotional drivel with no actual basis for the analyzing the topic at hand, which is how GGG would fare against HWs.

Well unless you want to completely ignore facts, reality, and truth, GGG DID beat up many HWs in sparring. He dropped Kovalev in sparring.

Tons of sparring partners have come out saying that GGG hit them harder than SHWs. Can someone point to me another fighter in the game who receives similar praise from their peers?

Here’s a quick history lesson: MWs and HWs used to fight each other. And although the bigger man has the inherent advantage, he didn’t always win. That’s just how it is. Have you heard of Sam Langford? Bob Fitzsimmons. Go look at their weight, and the weight of their victims. These guys are reported to have been vicious punchers, perhaps very similar to Golovkin.

Want a more in vogue example? James Toney packed on 100lb and went toe to toe with SHW boogeyman Sam Peter for 24 rounds.

Ali, Louis and Wlad has trouble with some of the smallest opponents they faced.

Mutual sparring partners have said that Golovkin hits harder than Povetkin. But because he didn’t score a KO against two guys fighting for survival instead of a W, his power is overrated? lol.


The truth is many fans are insecure about their boxing knowledge, so they’ll hop on the easy trends. Right now it’s easy to be bullish on Golovkin and his power. But if you are steadfast in mainstaining holistic and historical context, you won’t succumb to such pressures.
