    He is not an anomaly at all, he turned down his shot at undisputed, his first real step up fight was close against a guy everyone including myself predicted he would blow away, he didn't beat Canelo, rejected Andre Ward when he took him up on his challenge. I'm sorry but he is not an anomaly not like the legends of the past.

    I don't think it would even carry up to SMW, he is a big puncher for his weight division for sure but some fans took it way too far.

    Fitz, Walcott, Langford, these anomalies you refer to? They also had not so stellar nights. You can’t just knee-jerk react based off the last performance. You have to look at everything.

    George Foreman went the distance with Peralta, one of the smallest guys he ever fought.

    Its not because he went the distance its because those guys gave him all he could handle, which tells you he is good but not as good as the fanatics make out.

    Lol I know those threads are exaggerated but I do remember a lot of credible guys who thought GGG could smoke Kovalev, Ward and predicted him to dominate 168. A lot of people are back tracking now but when GGG koed Lemieux that was a lot of them thought.
