Takam is better than you'd normally expect for a last minute replacement. I think he might even last longer than Pulev did, though I don't think he has much of a chance of beating AJ.

Pulev honestly didn't have a chance against AJ, he had nothing to trouble Joshua with. More I think about it, the more I think it would of been a quick KO. Wlad leapt in with hooks then because neither had an inside game clinched. Once Joshua gets inside on Pulev, he's too strong to be clinched as proven against Wlad and Pulev doesn't have the inside game or the foot work to stay away. Once Joshua decided to end it against Pulev it would of been over.

So while on paper Takam may be worse, I think he'll actually probably give us a slightly more competitive fight. Joshua will still dominate though.

Maybe you've been too harsh? You've basically called him a bum, attributed him to a loss he never received, and created an entire thread dedicated to ridiculing him and his installation for this fight. You owe a far bigger retraction of your statements than that.

    On the money. Yeah right.

Thank God it fulfills his IBF mando I don’t want anymore excuses why we aren’t getting a Wilder fight. **** is sad, the best won’t fight there best competition. If I was Pulev I’m collecting my check he’ll never get another chance at AJ again.

Joshua-Wlad was best fighting the best. Joshua-Wilder is just Joshua putting a bum in his place whilst collecting a strap.

How can fighting a 40 year old?? Be fighting the best!? I get it Wlad reign over the division for years but let’s be realistic old shot Wlad doesn’t earn you ****, it was like when joe smith jr beat Hopkins, “great job congratulations”. Joshua would not have beat a younger Wlad. Also Wlad is no longer fighting and Wilder is clearly above Parker. So no you would be wrong Wilder vs Joshua is 1 vs 2. But who is which is subjective to region of the world your in

Wilders toughest fight and highest ranked opponent is Stirverne. When you compare to Klitschko to Stirverne, Wlad at 40 is still an achievement over Stirverne. Wilder is not clearly above Parker.

Wlad beats everyone else in the division that day and beats Wilder everyday of the week even now.

Wilder is in no way clearly above Parker... I'd pick Parker to beat him if they choose to unify.

Joshua is universally recognised as no 1 in the division.

Takam too small and too easily hit for my liking

AJ puts Takam on his arse before the 5th

I never said the dude was a bum although I agree I was a tad harsh and he brings something to the table and may get to mid rounds. My criticism was mainly around this being pay per view in front of 70k and wanting to see a bigger threat or prospect. We are allowed a knee jerk reaction now and again

He'll then have his WBA mandatory, which is still Ortiz despite the WBC not allowing him to fight. I love the AJ-Wilder fight, it's fun as **** but I don't see that as 1 vs 2 in the division at all

    Eh. not allowed.

You'll be lucky to find one that works. The Wlad fight and McG Floyd were basically unwatchable that way due to overload.
