Yeah he did good I thought he won the second fight vs Gavern as well , though it was three years ago and at the time he was down to about 15st 7lbs , he was in pretty decent shape compared to some of his other contests in recent years.

Regarding the Browne fight I scored it as a draw but I honestly think Browne should have had a least a point off for his wrestling tactics !

I'm not the type to get squimish, but the thought of Toney competing really makes me uncomfortable.

I get you. I'm usually one who says if a guy can pass physicals, let him fight, but Toney is really reaching the point where somebody has to stop him.

Toney isn't just going downhill - he's slid all the way down the entire mountain.

Be should be more concerned about Tank Davis than Toney lol. Tank is already punchy, 400 amatuer fights got to him I think. No joke he reminds me of these young football players that have signs of cte in their early 20's.

I don't think Toney is in that bad of shape actually, he's with it. He should retire soon due to age, it's dangerous taking blows by professionals in late 40's. Toney does have good defense and reflexes still, he should be fine taking on this light heavyweight

Not exactly. Ellis is a journeyman and 40 years old. That fight really showed me James is shot. His legs are shot, he needs a slow limited plodder who stands in front of him.

He looks out of shape and will probably come in at 280 pounds. I would not have an issue with Toney fighting some bums if he would at least got into half decent shape. If any,the only purpose is to reach 80 wins (3 more fights) and make 3 more defenses of the WBF title.

280 ! I cant see it, his career high was 257 vs Damon Reed in 2011 id be very surprised if he was as high as 280, this is white collar boxing and as far as I know its not listed as a professional contest its probably just an easy way for Toney to earn some $$$$ with a fight and a few fan events.

Pomphrey is going to win a comfortable UD. James needs to be saved from himself....

He should be retired off, and banned from boxing.
