Who in the current LHW division would you favor to beat Beterbiev?

I think Stevenson would beat him. He'd walk into left hands all night.

Stevenson gets his brains knocked out of his head at this point, if he couldn't put glass jawed Williams away in the 1st or 2nd, he couldn't get Beterbiev out of there that quickly, Artur has good enough defense to avoid an incoming left for a few rounds, all Beterbiev needs to do is land clean once, and he ends that piece of trash.

Beterbiev's defense isn't the best, and Stevenson is faster.

Its a hell of a lot better than you're giving him credit for, and he's a lot faster than you're giving him credit for as well.

i dont think stevenson wins. hes getting old but the age hasnt been effecting him so bad. at least it seems but he also hasnt been fighting the best.

stevenson , jack, bivoli have the best chance. i give bivoli or jack a better chance actually due to age

Bivol might be the person to beat him, let's see how he develops, i think that if Kovalev is anywhere close to his prime i believe that he can beat him as well, besides them, he pretty much walks trough the division.

This. Unless Stevenson ages overnight, which is possible he would land left hands on Beterbiev at will. Beterbiev needs to test himself with Barrera level guys before trying Stevenson. I think Stevenson, Gvozdyk, Jack, and Kovalev if he has anything left beat Beterbiev. Alvarez and Barrera are 50/50 fights.

Johnson doesn't have Stevenson's reach or handspeed and was countering Beterbiev with left hands almost on reflex. Johnson just didn't have any power.

    Gvozdyk maybe
    Kovalev
    Bivol maybe

One of those 4 is probably the best LHW right now, but we need the matches to happen for it to be known.

Beterbiev looks like the goods but he might be a paper tiger at the top level. I think he has fought 34 rounds in 4 1/2 years. He was decked by Jeff Page (and yes it was legit, he took 6 steps back into the ropes when he got up) and jolted a few times by Johnson. I would make Stevenson a 60-40 favorite and Kovalev 70-30. Badu jack would have a shot as would, (yes I'm serious) Marcus Browne. Browne looked terrible against a awkward, clumsy and unpredictaable fighter. Beterbiev is as straight up as they come.

I would favor Stevenson kovalev over him because he really hasn't been tested I mean you could say cloud but he was never really that good and what did he have left after the beating he took off Stevenson I would pick gvozdyk to beat him because his been in with much better opponents and I know he got knocked down but got up won and has fought much better opponents and his chin hasn't been a problem IMO he just got caught he doesn't have a bad chin until beterbiev fights better fighters we still dont know how good he is like how goods his gas tank chin power (at the top level) and his next opponent will not tell us anything
