Sanchez has been out saying that Charlo has to wait his turn because he has no name and brings no money. Obviously that's true, but Charlo IS the mandatory to GGG's WBC belt. WBC has ordered a rematch vs Canelo. Then, if GGG beats Canelo, he can unify with the winner of BJS Lemiuex. Imagine Lemiuex beats BJS lol. GGG already smoked Lemiuex easy so that wouldn't be a big seller of a fight.

So where does that leave my dude Jermall Charlo??

I think he should focus on beating other names in the division to build himself up because if BJS wins and GGG wins then they will fight for all the marbles. If GGG loses to Canelo in the rematch then GGG loses the WBC title. No reason for them to fight then.

The way I see it, GGG Charlo wont happen

Let's see, fight Canelo huge money or Saunders and unify are the priorities.

Beating handicapped Heiland ain't enough. Get in line

Maybe, maybe not. For it to happen, the following likely need to happen:

    1) Golovkin beats Canelo in the rematch. If not, it's Canelo who will Charlo will be gunning for ...
    2) The Saunders/Lemiuex winner does not want to unify all the belts OR Golovkin beats Saunders / Lemieux first.
    3) The WBC enforce Charlo before the IBF enforce Derevyanchenko OR Golovkin beats Derevyanchenko first.

Well, since he's not nearly as good as Canelo and Jacobs, and GGG fought them, don't see a reason why he wouldn't. GGG is NOT scared for a guy that couldn't hurt Trout.

Obviously Charlo has to wait. But the question I'm asking is, will he ever get a shot at GGG?

Trout is a pretty slick fighter though. Jermall and Jermell have improved every fight immensely and prove everyone wrong every time their doubted. Everyone begged for that Julian Williams fight and Charlo took his ****ing head off. Maybe Jermall needs to prove a little more against some stronger opposition but if his chin is as strong as it looks, he would give a hell of a fight to Canelo and Jacobs both.

He'll fight him. As long as Charlo keeps winning. It's a good fight and his reputation is growing. At this point Charlo isn't bringing big money which means his cut of the purse will be minimal for a fight as meaningful and risky as GGG. It will still be his biggest payday but Charlo and his team may want a bigger cut which most likely won't be negotiable since Charlo doesn't have any bargaining chips. If Charlo continues to win and builds popularity then he will have more leverage to get more money when and if they fight.

Charlo needs good promotion. Houston & San Antonio are good fight towns...with JerryWorld in DFW for a big one. Good Hispanic opponents vs Charlo would draw decent attendance.

No because he will fight Mayweather in May for big money and retire. I will bump this next year when the fight is announced. Haymon and Floyd want to slight Oscar De La Hoya.

Can Charlo fight his ass off? Is the G camp scared? This is a real challenge for G! Oh how the tide has turned. I remember when G fans cried that nobody would fight him, fast foward to today and now he's playing the same game! G needs to fight this young lion in order for me to respect him! If he ducks, it will forever tarnish his legecy! LOL

I think it's B'S honestly.. Fighters now days are so worried about money and not worried about Legacy. Back in the 90's and early 00's ect. fighters had no choices but to fight their mandatories or get stripped of the title... There was none of this " You have to earn this fight" garbage, and besides Charlo earned his mando didn't he? Ffs GGG would have certainly fought Heiland had he beat Charlo that's for sure.

This kind of **** is what frustrates me about boxing.

Canelo then BJS/LEmieux winner is over a year of waiting for Charlo. He could get 2-3 fights in by then. Abel is dumb but he's right about Charlo increasing his stock at 160 in the meantime.

After golovkin beats Canelo he will keep defending his title and with them being the only names he will have to unless he gets the last belt then moves up to smw because by that time there should be a definite number one in the division

He doesn't bail on mandatories, but unification takes priority. Common sense.

If Canelo II and the BJS-Lemieux winner falls through, it should be Charlo or Derevyanchenko next.

In the meantime, I'd prefer it if Charlo didn't sit on the sideline and took out another contender or two.
