For those of you who don't watch the other combat sport, "MVP" (You had better be BAAD if you have two nicknames) is about the biggest thing in MMA outside of the UFC. Page fought some no-hoper on the Joyce - Lewison undercard. I think he is making a full transition. This content is protected
It took Martinez quite a while to perfect his hands down RJJ imitation, he'll be KO'd cold long before he gets close to the level of those two, also he doesn't appear to have a great gas tank, he seemed to gas half way through the opening round. The showboating was repulsive and an insult to the sport from an MMA fighter, he can't get KO'd quick enough for me.
I like him his styles fun to watch . wont be able to clown like that if he wants to face serious competition though. he may not be anywhere near top 10 light heavyweight but hes already more exciting then 95% of boxers are to watch based off one fight lol.. need more boxers like this. fun stuff. on side note he was heavily protected in bellator but has skills for sure. shame hes like 30 already.
Im a massive fan of MVP in MMA, i think he could of been a star in the UFC. On a boxing note, wont come close to a World Title.
Thought he looked ****. Slow, telegraphed that right hand something horrible. He drops his centre of gravity when he loads up with the right hand, either by dipping his knees or by crouching over leaving him a sucker for an uppercut counter. He has tremendous height and reach, so it's probably a smart move he drops down to super middle where it will count more than light heavy, because honestly that's all I saw in terms of ability. I expect him to get knocked out long before he reaches anywhere near world class.
eh its fun to watch not saying hes will win a world title.. this is why I prefer mma over boxing.. boxing doesn't like any flash the only real entertaining fighters in the sport are loma, usyk, joshua these days. we need more RJJ types lol.
Total turn off taking the **** with inferior fighters..Jones jnr loved ridiculing fighters he was outclassing. Loma Usyk, Joshua aint that type
