They were both over 1/20 underdogs heading against Golovkin. I guess the bookmakers weren't as autistic as you are to think of them as ATG proven quality opposition.

As I previously stated, if he had no one to fight in his division, which was clearly the case and even he openly admitted it which further dismisses your autistic attempt to defend his pathetic resume, he should have moved up and forced big fights. If you can't find the big names in higher weight divisions yourself, then I won't educate a proven idiot like you. I challenge you to show some sort of mental stability in this discussion. I know it will be hard, considering you're a Golovkin fan.

I have a pair of shoes here worth more than you, your PC, the trash can you live in and your virtual likes. Lets leave it at that.

Ask yourself two difficult questions. Did they need to move up considering the opposition they had coming their way?, the answer SHOULD(considering your mental standing, it most likely shouldn't) be yes. Then why would they need to move up?. Did Golovkin find similar quality opposition in his division?, the answer should(again, your mental standing will get in the way here) be a fat clear NO.

Unification nor not, Lemieux was a joke opponent. I'd rather not focus on what these fights were labeled on paper, all that does is try to sugar coat crap. Instead, focus on the quality of this opponent and his fighting style. Most of the guys Golovkin was pitched against were carefully selected to stand flat footed and exchange.

If GGG moved up he would be fighting less skilled guys at 168 and earning a fraction of the money..He wouldn't have had the big Canelo payday and been able to pit his skills against another p4p'er. Jacobs as well is better than most if not all at 168..Unless your talking 175lb, which he would be dwarfed

He still has to do something to encourage big fights. Almost all fighters in the past that were stuck in similar situations forced big fights by taking risks, sometimes ridiculous risks. You can't simply fight nobodies forever and bark for paydays. His fighting style helped market him, which eventually got him a big payday. That's the only thing that encouraged the networks to pressure Alvarez to eventually give him a payday. If it wasn't for his fighting style, he would be left unheard of indefinitely.

Nobody with common sense leaves an original 8 division by choice for a junior/super one unless it's for a massive one-off payday or theyre passing through to another original 8 division. The original 8 always poach the top talent of the super and junior divisions around it. Happens to 140, 154, and 168 routinely. They don't lose talent to those junior/super divisions.

Unless you lose your way out of 160 or literally cannot make the weight, there's no point in just moving to 168 for 168's sake.

You can't take the people calling for Golovkin to move up seriously. They were calling for him to vacate and pass up pursuing a Canelo fight, which would've been sheer idiocy.

Your face looks like my ass, so I can see why you're confused.

Andre Ward Won't Go Back to 168 for Golovkin or Anyone Else

“I’m not going to 68,” Ward said following a press conference to promote his rematch with Kovalev. “That’s out. I heard something [that Hunter said]. I didn’t [see] the whole thing. But I’m not going [back to 168]. I said it before I moved up, and I wasn’t playing."
    - the scene

Wow, you must feel like a real ass-stain now, right?

"Hearn told The Times: “Carl [Froch] texted me tonight and said, ‘What weight would Golovkin fight me at?’ and I said, ‘172lb [4lb above the super-middleweight limit]’ and [Tom] Loeffler [Golovkin’s promoter] said ‘170’,” “Carl has got wound up,” added Hearn, who met with Loeffler in Monaco this weekend. “I know what Loeffler is trying to do and that is entice him out of retirement."

You really DKSAB, do you? :eaea:

Mayweather "GGG is easy work ... but I'll fight this 0-0-0 guy instead to prove my greatness" :risas3:

Don't forget to lick off the stains from Floyd's underwear before locking up, bozo.

Marvin Hagler never moved up, it is MUCH easier fighting smaller fighters moving up than fighting people your own size, Golovkin is more challenged by people his size than those who are former lightweights or junior welterweights. Golovkin wouldnt go 12 rounds with Roberto Duran, Hagler did.

They're still joke quality. That's exactly why he looked terrible when he finally fought someone with actual ability. The nut case here is you, and a severe case as well considering you're a Golovkin fan.

Because Golovkin is that ****ing good.

I guess the bookmakers take EVERYTHING into account, unlike you, you crispy cumstain at the bottom of a sock.

I already pointed out that he did, you rancid detached hemorrhoid.

    :wanker open wide.

I challenge you to stop wacking off to Wilder's oily chest, you disgusting reptile :ohno

Agreed. 160 is a very prestigious division, historically no 1 or 2 in most peoples eyes...They would just keep hating even if he did move up. Then it would be the calibre that would be the problem AGAIN !
