From what I saw in the first match, Canelo can’t trouble GGG.

I saw the fight again. GGG got better as the fight went on. That was the best version of Canelo. But GGG I believe will start the second fight where the first ended. I can see Golovkin hurting Canelo in the rematch.

Giving Canelo more than 4 rounds is a stretch. Sorry just is.

Notice after the 8th GGG got real comfortable and started throwing those looping shots that came down on Canelos head. Canelo looked very uncomfortable after GGG landed those, he stopped for a second every time.

Jacobs was the much harder fight.

Now that GGG has the big fight experience, the only thing that will stop him his age and possibly Jermall Charlo

Yeah after the 8th GGG got real comfortable walking into punches and getting hit in the face. Almost everybody agrees that Canelo did some of his best work in Rounds 10, 11, and 12 and won those rounds so I don't know how you conclude that G was getting better after the 8th.

The best rounds for Triple G were pretty clearly rounds 5-8. By the 9th Canelo began to land some big punches on G and by the 10th and 11th he was teeing off on Triple G. G looked tired, in between rounds in the corner he was gasping for air and hocking up loogies.

I don't know how any boxing fan can say that the rematch does not interest them. I mean wow this was the most anticipated fight of the last several years and after seeing that fight to not want to see the tiebreaker just baffles me. The only thing I can conclude from your statement is that you are scared at what Canelo's gonna do to Triple G in the rematch and simply don't want it to happen for that reason.

Almost everybody agrees that G is on the decline and Canelo is in his prime, and most people, including many of the people that had G winning the first fight, favor Canelo in the rematch. Canelo is focusing on improving his stamina which was one of the main reasons why G was able to keep it somewhat close.

I personally can't wait for the rematch. I can't wait to see how Canelo improves on what he started in the first fight, and I can't imagine how any boxing fan could not want or be interested in seeing the rematch.

There is no guarantee that Canelo will improve for the rematch. Sure age wise, he still a relatively young man at 27 but people tend to forget that he's been a pro since he was 15. That's 12 years now and with over 50 fights already, all those fights and hard training for those fights could well have taken their toll on his body. Not saying he's over the hill but there is the possibly that he has already peaked as well.

His starting boxing so early makes me think he wont be around for much longer. Couple of years and he'll be wrapping up I think !

LOL who doesn't think Canelo did some of his best work in rounds 10-12? I think it's safe to say that pretty much everybody had Canelo winning 10, 11, and 12, or at least 2 out of those last 3 rounds.

He's saying the opposite, that after the 8th G got real comfortable? Really? Maybe he did get more comfortable, maybe he got too comfortable becuase it led to him getting tagged more. Maybe G started throwing caution to the wind more and started opening up more, which gave Canelo more opportunities at landing on Triple G.

If Triple G comes out in the rematch fighting like that then it's gonna lead to more of an all out war which would be very entertaining. G got robbed? LOL. Stop crying, Canelo outboxed him and landed the better punches. G got a gift draw by two judges for coming forward, throwing a lot of punches and trying really hard. :deal:

As far as I am aware, I have yet to hear anybody say that they thought G won the last 3 rounds. Most people agree that Canelo won 1-3 & 10-12. (or at least had Canelo the majority of those rounds) So, this means like even the people who had G winning, had those as Canelo's best rounds. That's what I mean by "almost everybody". By that I mean as far as I'm aware, pretty much everybody that I've heard from had Canelo winning Rounds 10-12. Some people had G winning the 11th IIRC, but "almost everybody" that I've heard from had Canelo winning the late rounds.

Canelo`s chin can take GGG`s power and what aided that is he rolled with shots moving his head with the punch at the last minute to take the power out.

Alvarez was controlled and outlanded in all the late rounds outside of the 12th.

Sounds to me like you're trying to convince yourself of something that is not.

If GGG got comfortable the further along the fight went, how do you explain all three judges giving Canelo rounds 10, 11, and 12. Everyone of the official judges had Canelo winning those.

......and even if you thought Golovkin won, to say you don't need to see it again is hilarious!

I thought Canelo won 8-4, but most certainly the fight was competitive with both fighters fighing under duress that I definitely want to see it again.

To say, "I don't need to see it again" is to imply the fight was a mismatch, to easy for Golovkin, which only magnifies your own insecurity and the agenda you carry of having blinders on and refusing to accept Canelo gave Golovkin all he could handle and some he couldn't handle.

Did you seriously just ask for one to explain "how the JUDGES all gave canelo 10-12 ??? If rounds 10 thru 12 were scored accurately we'd have GGG as the winner on paper to go along with 90+% of the entire world

It wasn't easy for GGG, but it was easy to score.

Canelo did some excellent defensive and offensive work, but imo he 2asnt offensive enough and allowed GGG to be more consistent over the course of the fight.

    8-4/9-3 to Golovkin.

Canelo has alot of room for improvement in the rematch.
