"Wilder has to fight Whyte first to get the fight with Joshua." This is exactly Hearn blocking or delaying a unification unless Wilder agrees to face another one of his fighters.

If Wilder is stupid enough to turn down a career high payday to fight Whyte, that's on him. But that's no excuse to block a unification fight. Let's see them negotiate first, if Wilder really demands 50\50 split and the fight to take place in Alabama, then he's the one blocking the fight. But It seems like Hearn won't even entertain the idea of negotiating unless Wilder travels to face Whtyte, and that just doesn't make sense. Hearn had no problem paying another lazy, disreapectful, unknown American bum slayer 100x of his worth to get his title. Joshua/Wilder is a far more interesting fight than Joshua/Martin and It needs to hapoen next year, whether Wilder takes another voluntary defence against Whyte or not.

According to Hearn Wilder did ask for 50/50.

Also Hearns been pretty clear that he may have a WBA mandatory and a proposed unification with Parker to deal with before he gets to Wilder. So Wilder has time to fit in a voluntary so it's not really delaying the fight when Wilder was never going to be next.

Hearn wants him to fight Whyte to make Wilder more known to the casuals in the UK which will ensure there is the kind of money there to give Wilder the kind of payday he will require to risk stepping in with AJ. Why do you think Parker is getting preference over Wilder? Answer Parker fought in the UK against a Brit which raised his profile here.

Hearn just needs Wilder to raise his profile. The Ortiz fight would of done that but now that's out and he's back to facing Stiverne. For Hearn Whyte would be the ideal opponent as if he loses one of his fighters get the belt and he has a blockbuster rematch with AJ. But I think Wilder could beat someone else like Parker, Haye etc and still secure the Joshua fight.

If, Hearn has the Parker next, and if WBA still want a mandatory defence as soon as possible, I'd understand that. We'll see how It'll work out.

But I still don't like this "raising profile" thing. Does this mean every non-UK top contender in the future will be dictated by Hearn to face another one of his fighters if they want a crack at AJ? That's ridicuolus and It's just wrong. Remember how Wlad chased Haye, how he strongarmed him into facing him, even giving him a 50/50 split that he didn't deserve. That's the behavior I expect from a champion.

No not every no UK contender will need to "raise their profile" as not every contender will be asking for a 50/50 split or anywhere near it.

Plus Hearn is just using Whyte to put Wilder in a corner. Once Whyte is mandatory after he beats Helenius, Wilder's options are to either fight Whyte or unify. Thing is Hearn is looking to fight Parker before AJ faces Wilder which means it will put Wilder in a position where he either fights Whyte or is forced to unify with Joshua there and then.

Once he is in that position he can offer Wilder less than he would like for Joshua or be forced to fight Whyte in the UK when he loses the purse bid, likely for less than what was offered before by Hearn. Or wilder can fight Whyte in the UK and build the fight with AJ as Hearn originally wanted but at a lower cost.

If Wilder is smart he'd take the Whyte fight after Stiverne while the money is good before it goes to purse bids and he ends up getting about half of what is being offered now.

This profile raising thing is meant for those with no profile, its maximising profits. This has been demanded by American promoters for many decades with dragging people over to fight infront of American audiences to get a name out there to maximise their profits. Why is such a dirty thing now all of a sudden? I dont want any Americans falling out with me but some seem to be stuck in the 90,s. That America is the centre of the Boxing universe and it is just rude and unthinkable that a foreign promoter dares demand an American fighter to have to raise their profile before they make a huge fight.

If Wilder doesnt want to play ball, if Wilder doesnt want to do what has been asked of Boxers for many many years then Hearn should just fukk him off and go for Parker when Joshua is next available. The Wilder fight will still happen somewhere down the line anyway. Wilder wants it NOW NOW NOW. What Hearn is trying for is to give Wilder the very next available slot after 2 up coming mandatorys. He doesnt have to give him the shot, im sure we all want it and as soon as possible but Wilder wont play ball he seems to want everything for nothing. Fukk him bring in Parker who will be a hell of alot more professional to deal with.

I said it many times that I hated all the marinating, building up, A side/B side, raising profile and promoters trying to dictate other fighters' steps BS in boxing. I hated it when GBP did it to GGG, hated it when all the Cash cows and divas did it to lesser known but dangerous challengers. All that BS is the last thing that the already poor HW division needs.

When two fighters are ranked #1 and #2 and they also hold titles, I expect them to face each other. That's all I care about in this situation. And with Ortiz out of The picture, I'm sure Hearn can get a pass from WBA so AJ can unify against either Wilder or Parker.

You do realize what you sound like worrying about another man's pockets
? I just said Wilder right now would get 40 minimum just for being a dangeous, easy to sell the fight threat and the WBC belt, also Al Haymon is advising whos involved with Money Mayweather. This isnt anything to worry about.
I don't think for a second the pay split is a factor other than Eddie Hearn cannon fodder for fanboys.

The so called hall of famer, who lost to bums, didn't want the only belt he never had. Not only that, the dude had a real aversion against fighting power punchers. Avoiding Briggs for no good reason so imagine his attitude for Wilder. Your boy is no angel.
