All he brings is a tainted strap (tainted by him). If I was Hearn I'd ignore him and make him beg.

It's called negotiation. I see a 60-40 split and this ppv doing 1m+ easily. Why did Pac or GGG ask for 50/50?

Don't compare Pacquiao to Wilder ever again.. He was one of the biggest stars in boxing in his own right and brought alot to the table. GGG also sells out arenas where ever he fights and has a way bigger following the and is way more known worldwide than Wilder.

Wilder doesn't bring anything to the table other than a title.. Just because he has a title doesn't mean he can start to demand 50-50.. So do you think Parker also can demand 50-50? What if Stiverne wins the rematch, can he ask for 50-50?.

It's not even negotiating.. It's just plain stupid. AJ is making 20mil fighting Takam.. Wilder hasn't made half that in all his fights combined. 70-30 if he's lucky or a guaranteed purse of 10-15mil.

Wilder may want 50:50 split and the fight in US.

We'll I want to be a billionaire and an astronaut and a six pack without doing anything. But it ain't gonna happen.

Tbh I don't really care what the fighters get paid. I just want to see the fight.

I can already see how the negotiations go with Wilder & Hearn.

    Wilder: I want 50/50 split
Hearn: the Bloody hell you'll get 50/50
Wilder: The most feared heavyweight in the world merits 50/50
Hearn: No, the most protected heavyweight in the world merits 10/90. Deal?
    Wilder: Pfft..no deal...I'm leaving....
Wilder gets up from the table in disgust and begins to walk away.
Hearn: Alright...just so you know...Whyte is gonna be your mandatory pretty soon.
    Wilder turns around...
Wilder: ok...about that deal.... is it still on the table?
    Hearn: yep...just sign right here...

One thing I think Wilder will bring to the table is he is going to sell the hell out of this fight. Forgive the wrestling vernacular but he's a great heal and it's a ready made good guy bad guy matchup that the public lap up. 70/30 with a bigger % of any US TV money I think would be a fair deal for all involved.

Yeah no. You can't compare Liam Smith to Wilder lmao. No one was asking for the Smith fight, while everyone is dying to see Joshua/Wilder.

They have the same equivalent earning power in relation to opponent.

Doesn't matter if people are asking for it, Joshua can ignore wilder, freeze him out and he will continue fighting bums and become more marginalised until the wbc belt is of the same level as a IBO or wbf belt.
Wilder earns a million a fight, aj earns 20 million plus against anyone

Damn is AJ actually earning 20m? I need actual proof. I just don't see it. Yes again Wlad I could see it, against Wilder too, but fighting Takam? Let's say that does 500k buys on PPV UK price, that's 25 dollars/2(Cable company cut though I don't know how it works in the uk). That's 6.25m, then you got tickets, undercard, staff, etc. I mean I get Hearn wanting to invest in AJ and overpaying him, but 20m a fight?

Nope. It was not a demanded fight. This is a demanded fight. 2 HW with a 95%+ ko ratio and undefeated. This is a casuals wet dream.

In fact i think aj shouldn't even fight wilder it will hurt he's credibility.

Have been talking to lots of casual boxing fans here and they consider wilder to be some complete joke that cant even box. If aj fights him the casuals will be like why is he facing this lad who only fights carnival Fatman?

Wilder has the same reputation in the UK as a Hungarian journeyman who built up a mysterious record fighting in he's local gym.

He's got a guarantee of £10 mill for Takam which is $13 mill. Plus he'll get a share of the PPV, which if it sells well could see him earning the $20 mill figure being bandied about.

Suffice to say I expect him to make $20 mill plus, the Joshua PR machine is in overdrive at the moment. There was a documentary on the BBC this week about the Joshua/Wlad fight. Then on the night before the fight he'll be the other major terrestrial TV channel ITV at prime time with a 1hr special with survivalist Bear Grylls.
