I probably wouldn’t bet against any world class fighter of that era being on peds.

I didn't know that about his dad, and bodybuilding community being full of roids, makes it even more suspicious.

I remember being shocked at Ike's size (for a boxer) and trying to find some interviews with Cokes to see how does he train fighters and does he encourage lifting weights.
Turned out he was major against it.

One thing for sure, Ike didn't get that big and strong hitting the heavy bag.

Its the best giveaway for me..You put weight on when you retire always..Tyson looks 14 stone to me now. I think Cus beefed him up and took every opportunity to get that title with Mike from a very early age

Sullivan was a full time drunk,I hit the real ale week ends and I can tell you it doesn't do anything for my waist line!
If you read Pollack's bio of Jeffries you would be amazed at how little he ate whilst an active boxer,it would be incredible if he hadn't gained weight in retirement.
The other guys aren't in training anymore so their musculature would naturally diminish plus they are middle aged men now.I'd guess Bruno is still over 224lbs he was on TV sparring with someone last week,I bet Lewis is 240lbs right now!

I'm of the innocent until proven guilty persuasion. The title of your thread tacitly states he was a user.

But it seems today these recently retired guys shrink. Former pumped up muscular guys.

Are you aware of older ex fighters withering away like this? I think this is a new phenomenon among musclebound former boxers.

It's like the Charles Atlas advert in reverse. The guy starts out muscular, then winds up getting sand kicked into his face.

Just off the top of my head, I saw cruiserweight Carl Thompson in the boxing news. And even he looks lighter these days.

All great points (they’ll probably be mostly ignored though)

It's like asking me if Ibeabuchi ate meat.
    I presume he did.

What by asking if people 'think' he's was a user? It's a straight forward question isn't it? You know I think he was,I started the poll to see if anyone else did,and by the looks of things I'm not alone in my thoughts.

No, your thread is entitled ,"Ibeabuchi's Use of PED's" And there is no proof he used them, its that simple.

I recently watched footage of a 19 year old Tyson and he seemed incredibly developed for a teenager! I would not be at all surprised if it turned out team Tyson were juicing him up from a very early age!
