(Shaking My Damn Head) Spence/Mikey/Vargas All Ducked Miguel Cotto...!!!

Literally my thoughts exactly, Miguel is an elite boxer puncher but he's slowed down and can't
go a hard 12 against a monster anymore. Spence is a damn sharpshooter and that's the last thing he'd need to be in against at this stage,

 

Why did Mikey even bother taking the time to call Cotto out if he was subsequently going to duck Cotto?

 

He's already a GBP fighter. Easy to make for Oscar. What they really wanted was to supplement the departure of Miguel with another big name to fill the gap

 

mickey cannot be blamed for turning down a fight at 154...but i really wonder why spence didnt jump on this opportunity.

 

Spence should have been all over this fight. Manny, Floyd and Cotto were the big names with Legendary careers that a young up and coming talent beg for. Maybe he just didn't want to lock in with GBP? Either way I think it was a miss. That fight could have made Spence a bonfide star in boxing. Even if he lost but put on a great performance

 

Cotto can still fight but hes a fat old welterweight who doesnt want to make the sacrifice to come in at 147 but is undersized at 154 and above. Hes also taken alot tof punishment in brutal wars with pintor quintana torres judah mosley clottey pacquiao margarito mayweather canelo trout etc and should call it a day
