Maybe it's because you've fought damn near all cans, bums, stiffs, pastry chefs etc. Charlie Zellenof took your best shots better than most of the opponents you've fought. That's why you aren't a draw, and people don't take you seriously. Your cocky antics, and in ring gyrations that you do after knocking down bums, simply makes people more irritated with you. If you are KOing Luis Ortiz, or Povetkin like that, then so be it. But don't do all that goofy **** after you just dropped some can.

what has he done to be a draw, or who has he beaten? This is why he is not good for the division. He does not realize like Marvin Hagler did what it takes to be great and the discipline. He is a joke. I think Joshua has the head for being a champ longer. Wilder is turning into a whining guy who talks bigger than he is.

after watching that, I'm sure Wilder will pick Schaub as his next opponent.

It's really simple. Your management did not build you up appropriately and continually increase your competition. They keep you buried in Alabama, which is good in some ways and sometimes, but they need to branch out. Also, you personally state that you don't need to learn to be a strategic and multifaceted boxer and instead rely on the right to bail you out.

LOL ol' Wilder is delusional. He nearly killed himself and detached his own arms trying to KO Blubbereola and gets a boxing lesson from everybody he faces. Even Duhaupas managed to make him look like he got mugged. I'll watch Wilder if I'm in the mood for a can-crushing, but for serious boxing, switch the channel.

FFS Deontay you know damn well why you are not a draw. You read the Internet, you read this forum we all keep telling you why you are not a draw. Hell other promoters are trying to make your name known more than your own is so when you fight their fighters you might be able to contribute a little to the revenue and your walking away from that like you are already a star even though you know you are not one.

If you are an American heavyweight, unbeaten, an Olympian, a world champion with a knock out ratio like yours and you are still not a draw it can only be one of 2 things. 1, you havnt beaten anybody that catches the attention of the public or 2, everybody has seen you fight and thinks your **** and embarrasing and when you do tick box one your getting knocked out.

Beating Povetkin would help, beating Ortiz would help, Beating Whyte will help cuz you can compare your efforts to AJ aswell as getting the fight with him after it. Beating Stiverne doesnt do it, so beating him a 2nd time wont help much. Beating up internet trolls and talking stupid on Instagram wont help.

“I don’t know what it is but when ever I fight someone they come to fight me, like they have something to prove. They bring their A game and their tough but when they fight someone else just do alright but they really fight against me”

Yeah, that’s one of the way of looking at it... another may be that you make the same weak fighters look better than they are.

I think Schaub was right about one thing when he said there are only 6 fighters in the division he could fight to prove his resume... the problem for Wilder which they just brush over is he has been fighting the longest, has the most fights and hasn’t fought a single one!

Lol at mind bubbling. But hey people don't always get out the word they wanted, **** happens.

But it's pretty clear why he isn't a draw. Yes his fights are exciting and entertaining to watch but he's getting dragged into tough fights by guys we've never heard of. I hadn't heard of Duhaupas before he fought Wilder, Molina I only knew from being KO'ed in 1 by Arreola, Szpilka I had heard of but never seen fight before, Washington as proven by his loss to Miller was a nobody.

Wilder should of been annihilating these guys not get wobbled, busted up and out boxed by them before finding a way to win. Fans won't have faith in you if you're struggling with this level of opposition and won't invest their time in following your career if they don't believe you're the real deal. Joshua crushed Molina, brushed him aside like he was nothing, that excites fans even if the fight itself lacks drama, they see a heavyweight cut a swathe through the division like Tyson did in the 80's and Joshua has so far that's when fans believe in you and you become a draw.

He does do it a lot. I've noticed him mess up well known phrases quite often too. As is often the case when you're trying to appear smarter than you are, you just end up looking like an idiot, lol.

I agree with this, but I also think he just is a hard character to like which is made worse by his current record. He does come out with some complete nonsense and is quick to judge other fighters by a standard he hasn't followed himself.

I am British so i cant speak for Americans and why they cant seem to warm to him but as boxing fans we are used to hearing fighters talking ****, self promoting but there has to be a grain of truth to what they are saying and they must back it up, I find it hard to imagine even wilder believes half the **** he comes out with and he certainly hasn't backed it up.

I would have more respect for him as a champion if he simply said I have been learning on the job and now I am ready to step up and take on these fights not trying to defend his record and making out he is feared etc.

From a promotional point of view i honestly believe Eddie Hearn and the possibility of a fight with Joshua has done more for his profile over the last year than his own team have done.

He did make a point in the interview that a lot of his detractors are fans in the waiting and I am not saying i would become a fan of him per se but I would certainly respect him alot more as a champion.
