Quite possibly, though Byrd gave Gennady Round 4 and Canelo round 5. I had the opposite, though they were both very close and could really go either way. On my first rewatch, Rounds 8 or 9 seemed to be little bit closer than 6 when I rewatched them. For her to give Round 6 to Canelo, that uppercut must have really stood out to her. Round 7 Byrd gave to Gennady, but Trella gave to Canelo. 8 and 9 I really don't have any problem giving those rounds to Canelo, as he landed some sensational punches, but he also got outworked, so those rounds come down to whether you prefer quality or quantity. Rounds like those are always very difficult to score.

Look at the numbers 3rd worst robbery in 30 years. He landed 157 more punches and should have won 8 rounds to 4. The scale of this robbery was ridiculous and to do it to the undefeated p4p #1 fighter in the sport at that. In some ways it was worse than Pernell Whitaker vs Jose Luis Ramirez 1. This one was way more lopsided than Kovalev/Ward 1 or Golovkin/Canelo which other people here are championing.

Once again, Kovalev Vs. SOB, by far! Think about it, SOB landed three punches to Kovalev's testicles, clearly low, on the letter below Kovalev's belt! The disgrace is that HBO commentators tried to smooth over the low blows when the video clearly showed they were low! Tony Weeks knows the blows were low, so did Bob Bennett................and everyone else without a clear agenda! The truth is that SOB in now way won that fight and should have been disqualified. Yes, the fix was in as I suspected. If a fighter wins a fight fairly, I can accept it, but in now way can I accept that as a win for SOB, the dirtiest fighter in boxing history! SOB knew he could get away with it, he knew he cheated. Only in WWE, unless it's SOB! It's not fair when a fighter works so hard to win titles, Kovalev had not help, he earned them, only to be cheated in the first fight by SOB's judges, in the second by SOB's referee and boxing commission..................watch the video, it's clearly shown, there is zero doubt. There should be an investigation into fight fixing in Vegas as was the case a few years ago....................
