this kid is from england and seems to be pretty good he last fought on the 21st of this month versus jose Luis zuniga. he has flashes of Floyd and hamed. calls himself pbk, pretty boy Kelly. keep a watch on him check out his last fight on you tube
hes kind of got a tom cruise in him http://static.boxrec.com/thumb/1/18/Josh_Kelly1.jpg/200px-Josh_Kelly1.jpg
I'm on the PBK hype train. Talk about him fighting a top 30 ranked fighter in his 5th fight. Trying to move him pretty quickly by the look of things. Definitely got that Hamed style, but with less power. Although he looks technically more sound than Hamed was.
Looks a bit like a non-gloomy version of Robert Pattinson. https://www.famousbirthdays.com/headshots/robert-pattinson-1.jpg
Lord booth has been moving his stable fast (Burnett unifying at 25 years old). Wouldn't be surprised if Kelly fights for a Europeon in his 6th or 7th fight. Would like to see Kelly put his hands up a little bit more. Hopefully that will come as the opposition gets better.
he's good! he got massively hyped over here for the Olympics and then went out in the quarters and got a bit forgotten about booth will only train guys he sees becoming world champions now, means he has a smaller stable but more time to focus on the fighters
With that style I can see a strong power punching pressure fighter waking him down unless his the real deal
I agree. I can’t fully break Kelly down after 4 fights vs non eventful opposition so someone like Theophane would tell us if Kelly is real deal. I’m always wary of hyping flashy fighters. Unless you have Hamed power or Roy Jones speed, power and athleticism combined you’re going to find it difficult at highest level. I visualise Kelly vs novice pro prospect Errol Spence over 10/12 rnds and only see Kelly being walked down, hurt and stopped. But he has skills, maybe I’m underestimating him but I’m not on hype train yet. It’ll be interesting to see him in with opponent who imposed their will as fight goes on, and Kelly tires physically and mentally. Good prospect though.
It's like Andrew Selby I see him as a knockout waiting to happen the way he fights hand down like Kelly does
