For sure Klitschko vs Joshua. It was a great show and also it got more people interested in the HW division. Also it got interested again in boxing as well!

Crawford. He didn't drop a round all year and unified all the titles. Yes against Indongo but exactly what makes Indongo so bad outside his fight against Crawford? Indongo won two titles in impressive fashion in foreign territory. Bud has risen to consensus top 3 p4p this year and IMO so far no one else has done anything to impress more.

whooops missread :duh:duh:duh Well if Joshua makes a good win against Takam, it would be him. Also a great person that deserves it - Wangek! If Lomachenko wins impressively against Rigo it could be him. But Ward or GGG or Canelo - no thanks.

Sor Rungvisai and it's not even remotely close.

He beat who ever had the belts, it happened to be Indongo, it’s not like he ducked anyone in his division. He took on the biggest threats at the time.

Bet you would have gave it GGG years ago though when he got gifted two belts, fought Wade and Lemieux.

I tend to agree. He did the unthinkable, he beat the guy recognized as the P4P #1 Fighter, knocking him down in the process. Then he knocked him out in the rematch. It's hard to top that.

I would also have Mikey Garcia in the running for Fighter of the Year, just with the way that he dispatched Broner, and how easy he made it look. Broner is a good fighter, Mikey outboxed him so effortlessly, that was really impressive.

I would also have Canelo in the running for Fighter of the Year. His performance against Chavez Jr was flawless, and while Chavez isn't exactly seen as a top fighter, he's still a big name and a big puncher. We've seen what he did to Martinez, and for Canelo to comprehensively outbox him and not even sit on his stool between rounds was awe inspiring. Then he thoroughly outboxed the much feared Gennady Golovkin, making him miss, landing brutal uppercuts on him, never being hurt, etc, getting a draw in what really was a win.

So yeah, it's Sor Rungvisai, but Mikey and Canelo have gotta be in that conversation. I mean there's also a question about just how good Chocolatito was and if he was truly P4P #1. I mean obviously Canelo going up against Chavez Jr and Gennady Golovkin, I think we can all agree that it's tougher competition than a Chocolatito was. It's harder to do well vs truly top competition and big punchers. Sor Rungvisai was impressive, and his accomplishments can't be understated, but many think he got a gift in the first fight, and there were the headbutts.

So your questioning Crawford and your putting forward Burnett loool. I like the kid he had a great year but don’t act like Zhakiyanov and a washed Haskins is tougher than Indongo.

Are you serious what was MW when GGG was collecting the belts, it was just as bad difference is Crawford finished job. GGG turned down the opportunity for a Canelo fight. Kovalev got dispatched by Ward.

Agree with everything except the AJ victory, Fury’s victory is more impressive because he did against a younger more active Wlad who hadn’t lost in 10 years and did it in the guys back yard too.
