I Know that,but i am talking about the depth outside of Heavyweights that Hearn has,De Gale could've been useful for Headlining Sat Fight Nights,Co-Feature on a PPV Card.If i was Hearn,i would cut my losses and try and get Eubank Jr back on the books.Fits the mould of a Sky Box Office Fighter and if Hearn and Eubank Sr can compromise,it would be arguably be number two to AJ on Importance,which is not bad,but of course Hearn will know not to tell them that.If Eubank Jr wins the Tournament,it dosent make sense not to at least try and get him.

 

No doubt sky and matchroom would like Eubank Jnr but you can't have a fighter who makes the demands they did for the GGG fight. Totally ridiculous and unless they are prepared to not ask for such nonsense it wouldn't work.

I don't know think Degale wants to be a Saturday night fighter or Co feature ppv's. Degale wants to headline PPVs and have arena fights. The problem is that his not big enough to to do that. Degale fighting on ppv outside Groves or Eubank doesn't work.

I am actually gutted that Degale has gone with BT, if Eubank Jr or Smith win WBSS they won't fight him, especially Jr he will never fight a Frank fighter ever again.

I have actually noticed a lot of Matchroom fighters and pundits have started taking Jr up a bit in social media lately. I don't think it's a coincidence tbh, Jr probably will head to Sky if he wins imo. BT fighters and pundits 9/10 just spew hate about the Eubanks.

I am pretty sure the winner will be Jr or Smith, Groves won't beat both, no way.

He looks after AJ and that's the most important thing. Hearn has delivered AJ everything and more.

 

A lot of truth in that. I doubt Bellew's initial purses with matchroom were any higher than what Warren paid him. Brook's purses initially wouldn't of been that high either but as you say the deal is in time the big money fights will happen.

 

Oh I know that. They both seem happy with their situation and I know in past IFL interviews Hearn has said one day it might be a co promotion sort of set up with AJ. Who knows what AJ is being advised though by others in his circle??

I just envision that Hearn has made sure that he will always be a part of it.
