I think the better question could be:

"Who is more likely to hit you with (a higher volume of) effective power shots?"

While it's a fun debate loaded with buzz words and phrases, IMO the truth is that the better boxer is more likely to apply adequate power to beat you- and also wear you down by slipping or dodging your most lethal shots.

GGG, I think, will put you in a position to get punished more often of the two.

Definitely Lemieux now that Golovkin is aging.

I prefer the pre Sanchez younger version of GGG and I really like the way he boxed in this fight in particular. He was more measured and not so intent on chasing the KO.

This is one of his early fights with Sanchez in the corner but it's a lovely shot he finishes it with

I think so, but Golovkin is the more skilled fighter.

I think it's common knowledge that David is a harder hitter
than Golovkin, honestly I think Curtis is as well. I've seen both
literally melt guys, Golovkin can get a guy outta there, but he
generally beats the crap outta guys and send them into oblivion.
Big puncher, Golovkin absolutely is, but he's not a lightning strike
guy like David, or even Curtis.

    The result:
Golovkin is a far "better" puncher (technique and placement) than both

Lemieux is for me on his own with that power. GGG better puncher, but for one punch impact, its Lemieux !

Yea GGG is the better more calculated puncher and does more accumulative damage but Lemieux is lethal in one shot
