With that mindset, it's no wonder why you're all bent out of shape over the result of the first fight. Canelo could knock Gennady clean out, and you'd still find a way to cry about it or claim some type of massive conspiracy.

Corruption exists but I just don’t think Ward is a big enough name for him to be able to rob Kovalev. Canelo is and I will agree Oscar probably paid off Byrd though.

Even Kovalev accepts the second loss so you can’t use that excuse.

Kovalev said he cannot beat Ward with his own officials. Kovalev gave Ward credit for beating him at all costs, but he acknowledged it wasnt a legit victory. Also Ward did benefit from Corruption, Kovalev isnt as popular as Golovkin, and Ward was the hometown fighter, so he obviously benefits from favorable officials.

you do understand that this is the reason there are three judges vs just one, no?

You do realize corruption exists regardless of how many judges there are NO? All it takes is one ridiculous score card from a paid off judge to get the wrong result.

They werent close fights, do you understand what a robbery is? When the boxing community acknowledges there was foul play, that is a sign that there was corruption at work.

    were they ridiculous?
i don't think they were far off. did canelo lose?
    i think so.
    was it a robbery?
no. it was a close fight.
there are various ways to judge a fight.
none of these results should ...result in such whining.
and it did expose kov as a whiner, among other things.

the boxing community has NOT acknowledge this...only a few fanatics.
thank whomever that the pac and gg era is almost over because the slobbering over these two was fanatical to almost a religious point.

The boxing community acknowledged there was corruption, it wasnt just a few crazy fanatics. You are probably living under a rock if you didnt see the outcry.

Complaining is justified when people dont get the credit they deserve, when you apply for a job and you are looked over for someone less qualified than you, you have every right to make noise.

    sure.
outcry....from fanatics. most don't have a working understanding of the sport. have never laced up gloves or been at ringside...which is fine.
now if someone saw canelo 118-110 ggg...then yes, of course.
but thank god for casuals. they pay ppv events too.

I can’t believe people still make excuses for this guy Kovalev. Ward broke him down in the second fight just like Hunter predicted he would. I agree Weeks stopped the fight early but it’s clear Kovalev was rocked and on his way to getting stopped
